My wife and I got married here on October 13th of this year and it was the best experience of my life. This venue is absolutely INCREDIBLE and has so much to offer! They have a warm/inviting foyer, a beautiful hall with a gorgeous backdrop (where we had the ceremony and dancing) as well as a newly renovated studio (where the bridal party got ready) and a full residential area with 10+ beds, bathroom, and kitchen (where the groom’s party got ready). The grounds of the property (where we held the reception, catering, bar, and photos) are completely enclosed and create its own “boho” and desert atmosphere that make it feel like its own world. Yucca Shala has SO many different beautiful photo ops. Kim and Spencer also provided us with a motorcycle/sidecar as well as a large wood triangle frame backdrop to use for photos! The venue had a shipping container with a 16ft vintage couch we used as a stage for speeches. Kim and Spencer were so helpful, flexible, and accommodating in setting everything up. They provided and set up the tables, chairs, and any miscellaneous items we needed at the last minute. Kim and Spencer are some of the most down-to-earth and genuine people we’ve met. Upon first visit, I thought for sure that this venue was going to cost an arm-and-leg but they quoted us the most reasonable price we received across the ENTIRE high-desert/Morongo basin. If you’re looking for the perfect place to host your event at a reasonable price, good luck finding any place that beats Yucca Shala!

What an exquisite and consciously crafted oasis in the desert! I loved so many of the physical attributes (the high ceiling yoga room, sound bath, sauna, ice tub, the bunkhouse...) but the energy of the space was the most noticeable: calming, soothing, and grounding. After receiving the tour, I learned how much love, care and consciousness had been put into the transformation. 10/10 would recommend the Yucca Shala to anyone interested!

The Yucca Shala is an Eden that’s been brought to life by the most gifted and intuitive team that is Kim, Spencer, and Jordan! The sanctuary is such a healing place to be whether your taking Jordans 84 class and learning how to be triumphant, or by having a conversation with Kim about your postures and quite possibly many other aspects of your life! And the experience is nothing without Spencer being played by the singing bowls! Ask him about it next time your there, because I promise it’s too good to miss. ALL of this is just the sanctuary! The rest of the Shala is truly the garden of Eden and the space is held in such a loving way 24/7 it’s too good to not experience at least once! (Because trust me once you get there and leave you’re constantly thinking about when your going back!) ♥️♥️♥️

The yuccashala has a special energy too it. You feel it when you drive onto the property, when you walk in the door and when you cross the threshold of the sanctuary. It was a crafted space. Perfectly designed, and if you told me it was cosmically aligned I wouldn’t be surprised. Kim and Spencer are truly talented and special, sharing ancient knowledge and a wonderful space. We had an amazing time there. We were taught awesome yoga techniques and so much more. It’s a great place to experience. Perfect for so many different events in so many different ways. You should check this place out!

The Yucca Shala is amazing! It’s a converted church with the sanctuary turned into the hot yoga studio called “the Sanctuary!” It’s a gorgeous place to practice and the heat is juicy. The real gem is Kim’s teaching and healing. She is the best instructor I’ve ever had with the best working knowledge of anatomy in the postures. She knows exactly where students are in their practice, where they have the potential to grow and what they need to do to get there. She has the amazing skill of providing attention and detail to each student in the room. It was am amazing weekend , I’m so grateful I gave myself the experience. Thank you Kim.

This Retreat Center was built with love & has high vibrational energy. Kim Tang & Spencer are gifted in the art of teaching and training yoga. They have made this a wonderful space to gather.

It was a joy, honor, & privilege to take part in the Global Yoga Network Yoga Retreat last weekend in the Yucca Shala Sanctuary. Being there with so many dedicated Yogis and Yoginis truly inspired, encouraged, & elevated my spirit, soul, & yoga practice. I highly recommend using this beautifully designed space for any special event!!!
