This place is great. They've helped me for a long time now. Everyone has been friendly, responsive to my life situation, and really helpful in scheduling me needful appointments to get me back to work.
Even being homeless has NOT kept the professionals here from basically bending over backwards to help me get everything I need to get employed.
But people need to realize that no employment agency is a magic button: I needed to do my part.
But with helpful guidance and direction, I'm on the road to a great job now, and also housing... So, thank you all at the Yuba county one-stop! I couldn't have done it without you.

Helpful staff, safe environment due to security presence, and they pay for select career/school training programs. They offer job search help, resume building, job related counseling and other things that actually help people. Don't expect much help from the veteran/military section however. That's why I took one star off from a perfect score.

I went in for help filing for unemployment. The man that “helped” me continually cut me off mid sentence multiple times. When I was on the computer logging in he tried to tell me my email was wrong. When I tried to tell him I already had an account he told me I was wrong and had me go through the process of signing up for an account SURPRISE “this email already has an account” so I again went back to log in and while the computer was loading I asked him a question and he cut me off to explain something that I was asking about and when I said “yes I understand that I was asking about this” he again cut me off and went on talking about whatever he THOUGHT I was asking about. I ended up leaving and doing it on my phone in the parking lot. Hoping I did it right.
(The security and front desk ladies were great!)

I had a wonderful experience. I applied for 5 state jobs. I needed help from the patient assistant, then I had the confidence to do it myself. I also made copies if my resume. I live in Live Oak, and we don't have a copy place. Before I entered the building security took my temp. I noticed sanitizer through out the building.

The lady at the front desk was very nice very helpful and cared about people. If every business could have employees like her, each business would thrive. People who can actually put other things aside to help others and there needs make a huge impression in society an impression that makes for a healthy positive future.....one word to sum it up. refreshing.

Before I could even sign in fully the rude front desk lady Claudia was denying me use to the computers because I said I came here so someone could help me sign up to be an IHSS caregiver just like they helped my mom do, and she said sorry we don’t do that here and so I went to scribble my name out and she goes “no no you don’t have to do that” WHY IS SHE SO BOSSY? P.S. red lipstick is not your color
