Mabel is a warm, empathetic and experienced therapist. I was very reluctant to start therapy because of my own skepticism and irrational fears. But once I did start therapy with Mabel I have seen myself grow as a person and how it has positively effected my life. I feel it's difficult for anyone to trust and open up and feel safe even to a therapist. She has provided me a safe safe space to open up about what I have been going through and I was able to trust her with my thoughts immensely. I have regularly attended therapy with Mabel for 8-9 months in total and I know that it has changed my life for the good and has provided me with much needed skills. I would definitely recommend Mabel highly to anyone who wants to see a therapist. I honestly feel she is a gift to the mental health community.

I found Mabel by chance a couple of years ago when I was not in a great place. I had tried out several therapists, but formed an instant connection with Mabel. She is warm, personable, empathetic, and compassionate. I remember hoping on a consultation call with her to let her know about my situation, filling in a form online about my background (other therapists take at least 1-2 sessions to get this which I feel is a waste of time/ not very efficient), and by the time we had our first session, she already knew a ton about me!

Mabel is practical and relatable, and I place a lot of trust in her expertise and guidance. We dont always have breakthroughs every session (nor should you have that expectation for every therapy session), but I always walk away with something to think about, and a renewed sense of calm. She has seen me grow over the years, and Im truly grateful for her help.

Mabel is a fabulous and versatile therapist for women, girls, and couples. She put me at ease right away with a friendly and welcoming attitude. But what I most appreciated about the time I spent with Mabel was the bold and creative way that she works. I think it makes her stand out among other therapists and certainly helps bring about change.

Mabel and I have been colleagues for the past year, and are in a bi-monthly consultation group. Mabel is an experienced, well trained, compassionate therapist. The questions and comments she offers other therapists are insightful and compassionate. Clients love her. Once they've finished therapy, when they need a tune-up, Mabel is their first phone call. Mabel specializes in couples, women, and anxiety.

There are certain people in the world who truly care about others and want to help them. Mabel Yiu is one of these people. When I first signed up for sessions with Mabel, I was very skeptical of the therapy process and how helpful it would actually be in my life. After 7 months of regular sessions, I can say with certainty that my sessions with Mabel were exactly what I needed in order to tackle my life long internal struggles with anxiety, depression, guilt, and lack of self care. Each session I was greeted with Mabels' warm and compassionate demeanor, and never failed to leave with a new tool for coping, as well as a new outlook on whatever issue I had entered the session with. I feel very fortunate to have met Mabel and to have worked with her. She is truly one of a kind!

I first met Mabel when our children went to the same preschool, and was very impressed by the genuineness of her character and her thoughtfulness. Subsequently, when I was exploring different career options, I reached out to her, and was greatly impressed by her insights and guidance to bring thoughts and ideas to fruition. Highly recommend Mabel!

I had the pleasure of meeting the owner of this fantastic practice and was so excited and impressed with her practice that I was inspired to write a review. I am a therapist myself who works with teens. I often talk with other professionals to find referral sources for patients that aren't right for my practice. Having a practice that focuses on Women is much needed in the bay area. I work with mom's who are so busy taking care of their teens that they forget to take care of themselves. I am grateful to find a great place to refer them to so that someone can care for them the way they care for others!
