If I can give them a 0 star I would. I had my first session with a therapist it was ok, told her I got out of work at 4 and she didn’t work after 4. Ok so I said what’s the latest and we agreed at 3:35. The second session I was on the call with her and unfortunately I had a house fire (while on the phone with her). Tell me why did she note it as a cancellation!!! I canceled the 3 sessions as you can imagine I was not feeling like talking to anyone during the process of being out of home due to house burning. I was 7 min late for the 3 sessions and they said I already had 3 cancellation. I’m a mental health provider for 18 years I have never encountered a mental health provider that treats clients the way I was treated. This I have canceled my therapy sessions and will be looking for another provider.

I wasn't even able to have two sessions before my therapist hung up on me.

Her name is Mirna Hernandez, LCSW. I never raise my voice at her, I never swore, I wasn't disrespectful. I was trying to get her to find solutions to some issues that I was trying to get around with the policies. Namely getting in top contact with my therapist in a way that was something other than zoom.

I was given no decorum, there was no courtesy in the conversation. I was taught constantly talked over and at one point my own words were paraphrased and then given back to me differently than I spoke them. Mind you this is coming from a therapist dealing with somebody with mental health issues a licensed clinical social worker took a mental health patient's words twisted them around and then tried to tell that person that they said something they didn't.

Another word for that is gaslighting.

I had 18 minutes left in my session they kept telling me that they needed me to go they would not respond to why I needed to get off the phone, I asked them if they were refusing to see me they wouldn't respond, they kept saying you need to call the front office,.

And then they disconnected the call. Or the zoom meeting. Earlier in the conversation I asked the clinician issues going to refuse to work with me because she thought I was difficult she said no. Then I asked them why are you referring me back. They kept restating that I needed to talk to the owner about the policies that I had an issue with. I kept reiterating I had no problem with the policies in that sense I was just trying to get validation from my therapist because I had concerns.

They never would answer a single question that I asked and I would ask very direct questions. At one point the therapist informed me that they were confused by the situation and I asked them what was confusing. Multiple times I asked you said you're confused what's confusing you? They never answered the question they kept reiterating that I needed to talk to the front office or the front manager they wouldn't tell me why I needed to or what they were referring me back for and again at the end of it all with 18 minutes left in my session me literally in the middle of asking why they were refusing to continue the therapy session and to try to get somewhere with it they just disconnect the call.

This company is so unprofessional. They have three locations but you can’t reach any of them by phone you call a main line and don’t even get a response for 24 hours. This is after listening to some long drawn out message in two different languages without the option to select a language. They charged my credit card for a missed appointment but they failed to answer my three telephone calls prior to the appointment that was made for me by my healthcare provider. We had questions about the history of the therapist we were made an appointment with as there was no photo and no information about them anywhere online and wanted to ensure that we were seeing a therapist with experience not a new therapist. They neglected to call us back waiting until after the appointment passed when I clearly said in my message that we need more information on the therapist to make a decision on whether or not we were going to keep the appointment. And then they charged my credit card which will be reported as fraud. Do not deal with his company find somewhere else they’re extremely unprofessional.

My initial 1st therapist was on her phone, she would use the game Candy Crush, I knew it was Candy Crush because my Fiancé would play the same game at home.

I tried a new therapist, my second therapist actually used in-session time to create virtual-telehealth-links and would waste the first 5 minutes of every session because she couldn't be bothered to do that outside of session. She also would never remember what we discussed. She would look down at the bottom to even remember what my name was in telehealth calls.

The last therapist was a person name Angelica Nuno, and this therapist was the worst of them all. She would sit on her phone, 5- 10 - 15 minutes at a time, just looking. I'd talk, talk, wait, wait for her to look up. At first, the phone was down under her chin, so her eyes are square down, so as I'm talking I'd see pretty plainly she wasn't even giving a care. I'd finish what I was discussing and I'd ask her - "so what was I saying", and her reply was, "what was what". After another 5 minutes, she moved her phone to the right, thinking maybe it would make it less obvious, only to see that her eyes are now directed off screen. I'd stop talking. Her reply again, "so what was what" I didn't say anything, you were talking? 15 minutes, should we be discussing something? 20 minutes in, Why am I here, why does my insurance pay for these people. Is it really this hard for someone to care? Really? I thought maybe, maybe someone would like, put effort and energy into something so important and serious. The therapists at Wise Mind Counseling cannot be bothered.

If you want to feel like you're sane, rational and like, the world makes sense, go any place else, because people at Wise Mind, look at the clock way more than listen to what a client has to say.

My counselors name is Amy and she’s amazing. Only been a month or so with her and I’m already almost back to my old self. she’s helped a lot and is very kind and accommodating with the hours that work best for me.
