Terrible experience!
I tried to call to get an appointment and got sent to voicemail right away, it took forever to get a call back!
Finally I got in with Barbara, the first session was okay, but I found the therapy to be very surface level and not very helpful. I gave her a few more chances and she started being very late, i waited over 20 minutes past the time of my appointment multiple times!
This was so disappointing as i was in a very difficult spot and got much worse after. I felt like they did not care at all about me. I would never recommend to anyone!

One of our children sees a therapist here. She has been extremely helpful to him as he's learning to navigate his feelings and struggling with depression. I would highly recommend them!

Dr. Michael Byrd has helped my wife and I overcome total hopelessness and a completely fractured marriage relationship. Through his counseling and Gods grace we are on an amazing road to recovery and healing. Dr. Byrd is patient, kind, professional, and very effective. His non-judgemental and warm approach makes you feel like you are talking to a friend with total comfort. We have been so blessed to receive his counsel and we HIGHLY recommend his services.

I have never in my life encountered a counselor that not only was not adhering to the Hippocratic Oath "above all do no harm", but was actually brainwashing my husband by inserting his own opinion into his paraphrasing of our descriptions. I had had a suspicion that GEORGE STANKHE was doing this as my husband had begun to state some things that weren't making sense and weren't factual. I articulated my concerns to him and continued to do so for around 5 months. Finally I attended a session with him and saw first hand that this "pastor" was indeed brainwashing my husband. He inserted words into my husbands head that we had not said and stated them as fact, like he was repeating what I had just said BUT HE INSERTED HIS OWN OPINION into his paraphrase. PLEASE do not seek help here, you will end up needing counseling to deal with this counseling!

Seeing Susan and it's been really helpful. She's amazing and very qualified compared to my last counselor. Thankful for a wonderful and compassionate believer who is Spirit-led. We always pray at the beginning.

We saw Wes Wilson here. We went 3x. I should have went with my gut on the first visit and not return after he got off to talking about guns and ammo with my husband for 15 min and completely disregarded why we were even there. The juice of what he has to say is somewhat accurate to "most" relationships, but I felt he could really care less of how we felt or what we had to say. He has his grand collection of degrees he keeps all over his wall and he wont mind telling you "oh I'm good at what I do". He likes to flash his Rolex and tell you all about how over qualified for life he is. I tried to hang in there and hope it was just me and a bad attitude I had, but he is just way too prideful. He comes across as a know it all and makes wise cracks at scenarios like yours and Im sorry, but I'm in marriage counseling, I don't find my situation or others like it ammusing. If you're going to help others, do it with humility. I dont need to know about your trips to musicals, the "odd jobs" you did over seas, or your fancy pen that you found the need to describe to us in detail.

Won't be returning.

Absolute worst experience ever at WOG... Dr. Bird and intern have no clue whatsoever about ethics, boundaries and how to be a "professional counselor". They are far less than "compassionate Christian counselors". Now I need counseling from their counseling... HORRIBLE! DON'T EVER THINK ABOUT GOING HERE!!!
