This place is a really good place if you need more support as in being a family, or just at home. This place has your branch out and help other people. You can also volunteer, and ask for hours. This place is really amazing because they help people with their low self-esteem, or branch out and not be such an introvert

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!! We went in for a voluntary couples therapy, it was not appointed by family court (thank god ?). After 16 sessions with Allison I’m very disappointed as she decided to TERMINATE our Conjoint Therapy session out of nowhere because we reported sick on day of therapy at 3:13 pm and our session appointment was at 5:00 pm as a business owner myself i was aware I was cancelling on short noticed and still needed to pay for that session without her having to remind me I tried 5x making the payment for that session but she went on a childish/ unprofessional behavior because according to her I was lying about being sick and went on and blocked me from all access to reach out to her and explain to her with receipts that my partner was actually sick and I thought it be selfish of us showing up sick and getting her sick so I was concern about that but apparently to the money is all that matters and they probably thought they were going to miss out on the payment for that session. And by the way all this happened after a similar situation where she was running late the day of our session, our session was supposed to start at 5:00 pm. and she did not reach out to us until 6:09 pm by email saying she was late do to an accident and insisted in meeting with us at 7:00 pm. As a person who disbelieves in Therapy this situation has left me worse than when I first reached out to them, My biggest regret about reaching out to this place is sharing personal sensitive moments of my life with an unprofessional person not fit for the service she offers definitely needs to get her license checked out by the State.

This place just cares about the money , I ran into a situation with my bank account being hacked and the person who did so disputes 240 worth of my payments towards this facility, I explained to them what had happened and I had ONE session of a course I had to take for court to finish , they did not allow me to finish this course . Then I payed the 240 when I had the chance and they still didn’t allow me to finish the last session. Thankfully my social worker said that class didn’t matter as much and I got what was needed for my court case to close. Not just that the therapist I was assigned too emailed me after our sessions were done and closed basically accusing me of being a liar. Only did these stupid courses for court . If not necessary, I don’t recommend coming here. Classes are overpriced and unlike other normal places , medí- cal isn’t accepted here .

I had a DCFS case open and looked everywhere for help, I finally got an appointment at Valley family center. They don’t accept insurance but neither do a lot of places and these guys were 1/3 of the cost of other places. I was hesitant to participate as I had never experienced therapy before but my therapist made me feel comfortable able helped me with my case to get my kids back. Thank you guys for your help!

Called this location for teen counseling services. Services are for a family without covered services and lack the finances to pay high fees. Though they do have income based scaled fees, the receptionist explained that their facility requires the patient to commit to a 6 month service on a weekly basis for the scaled fee. Additionally, it has to be the same day and time weekly that they assign you. So if your insurance doesn't cover it and you don't have the cash to commit, you are denied service. This does not seem conducive to a family struggling financially. How does that make sense to those in need of counseling? Once again, the health care system fails.
