I am soon to be 34 years old and have been going to see Valerie Lucio for both individual and couples therapy since I was 18 years old. Valerie is skilled in many different areas and types of therapy. I literally have never met another person to this day, with such a pure and good heart as Valerie Lucio. She truly cares about her clients and their well being and doesn't judge them or try pushing her beliefs. She is smart enough to understand that when therapists judge their patients, it is counterproductive, and unhelpful to the client seeking help. Valerie doesn't have a single evil bone in her body, and I cannot find a single bad thing to say about her if I tried. She truly has been a blessing to me in my life and a major contributor to my continued process of healing. If I want to take it easy, she will follow my lead and not push me too hard. However, she also has a real knack for knowing when I am capable and/or ready to go deeper and will also motivate me to push myself when those sessions arise that require thinking outside the box, or ditching my comfort zone. Awesome therapist for both individual and couples counseling. (She is very fair to both individuals in the relationship, and never has made either of us feel like she was picking sides) Good Luck!

I am sincerely disappointed and as a 33 year old man I must say my feelings are genuinely hurt. I was recommended this therapist from a counselor. I have never met Lucia nor have I ever heard any information whatsoever about her prior to her recommendation. I was also recommended other therapists. After leaving the counselors office I went on google and searched up therapists in Ramona. She was one of the therapsist that came up and she had 1 review with a 5 star rating. I wrote down her number as well as the number of two other therapists I found. I called Lucia to inquire about therapy. She answered the phone and stated her name then which I greeted her and then introduced myself. I literally didn’t even finish speaking when she immediately seemed offended and responded “how did you get my name”. She then followed up by stating she is booked(I never even asked or requested her services and/or spoke anything if availability or of an appointment. I sincerely felt she was being extremely rude. It was as if I interrupted something she was doing or as if she was eager to do something or be somewhere. She lastly followed up by asking me again how I got her name. This review is long enough so to make a long story short I am extremely disappointed in Lucia and if you live in Ramona I will say it is very obvious and clear that Lucia does not. That should tell you everything you need to know
