Tyler, PJ and the crew are great. Over the past couple years they’ve helped me with all things road cycling - getting fitted, random parts, small repairs, upkeep, maintenance, apparel - they’re fairly busy, and if you’ve got a bit of patience, they’re great. They know what they’re doing (coming from a former hike messenger in NYC), and they put in the effort. Recommend this shop for all things road cycling.

For record, I also use shops downvalley, the Hub (also great), basalt bike and ski (use them for mountain bike stuff), and more. I like Ute due to hours, ease of discussion, and attention to detail. Good team, good shop, good products, good service.

I was so fortunate to be recommended to while I was in Aspen only for one month. I wanted to bike an e bike and Ute had the e bike immediately available for purchase and an amazing brand BMC. On the spot PJ, the owner assembled the bike, fitted me and got me on my way and his attitude was so honest and perdonal. We even hugged when he put my GORGEOUS e bike on my rack. Afterwards he and his brother Tyler were available to answer any doubts I had by phone or in person. Tyler even boxed my bike so I could take it back to my country. Highly recommend Ute City Cycles.

Ute City Cycles is the best! They were able to accommodate me as a walk in and repaired the axel and chain of my bike. They even explained to me how it happened so I had more of an understanding. There are also a variety of bikes for sale. It’s a great place to make a purchase or get servicing done. Highly recommend!

Got to aspen to bike and had a flat tire. Took the bike to Ute city cycles and they fixed it in no time !!! Was super grateful to be back out and making memories with my family !! 5 stars will be back

Thank you Tyler for being an amazing ambassador to the sport of cycling. The team at Ute City went above and beyond to fix and replace my derailleur. We had a minor shipping snafu with UPS and Tyler immediately remedied the problem. Thanks so much! I’ll be back to visit Cooper the Great Dane! Coolest shop dog ever.

One of the best. Always helpful, good work, and fair pricing. I have biked for years, mostly mtb and have used many bike shops in different locations. Nice to leave a bike shop ready to ride and feeling good.

Worked with Tyler on a bike for my partner. Less than ideal experience as he was rude and not answering questions thoroughly. In an area with many options, including Facebook Marketplace, I will think twice in terms of where I buy my bicycle.

Would not recommend this place! These people are not very knowledgeable, but will still charge you top dollar. I went in multiple times to try to get my brakes fixed. Each time I went to pick it up when they said it was done, it was like they did nothing at all.
They end up telling me I just have cheap brakes & that I need to replace them.
I take it to another shop in town to get a second opinion. Within 30 minutes the other shop has it completely fixed... all it needed was new brake pads. Don't know how ute cycles didn't realize this. These people will just waste your time & money.
