Working with Elaine has been incredible! She has a refreshing, thoughtful approach that allows you to find the answers within yourself in a gentle, supportive manner. I have never felt rushed or pushed to go somewhere I wasn't ready to, and couldn't be more thankful! Therapy has become a welcomed spiritual, and deeply healing experience for the first time in years. I am slowly getting back to myself and have Elaine to thank for helping guide the way.

I'm really happy to have found the Trauma Healing Center. I've done therapy with a few different practitioners over the years with varying levels of effectiveness, and my sessions with Elaine Power have definitely been the most helpful in improving my mental health and addressing the impact of my childhood trauma. Elaine is easy to talk to and non-judgmental, affirming and kind. I am pretty new to EMDR, and I appreciate that she takes the time to address all the questions I have and that I am always sure it's ok to proceed. I always feel safe, and I never feel pressured into talking about things I'm not prepared to address. I've only had about five sessions with Elaine so far, but I already feel more capable, more energized, less destructive, less anxious, more present, and more understood. I'm in my mid 30s, and while I wish I had found the right help sooner, I’m grateful that I can finally say that I feel hope for my future and ability to accomplish my life goals. I 100% recommend the Trauma Healing Center.

Best therapy I’ve ever received, by far. Elaine is knowledgeable, competent and kind. Her EMDR therapy in particular is the one thing that has improved my life more than anything else I’ve ever tried (and I have tried just about everything). I finally feel able to move past traumatic events from my childhood and adult life. I can’t recommend her, and EMDR, enough.

If you've ever wondered why life seems harder and more painful for you than others, you may be suffering from trauma and dissociation. Thats what it was like for me before I visited Elaine. But thanks to her, and her quirky methods, I enjoy life more. I am less depressed and angry. I have healthier relationships. And most importantly, I know that my trauma was real, and I'm not to blame for that.
