Scam. I scheduled a session and therapist moved it 45 minutes before we were supposed to meet with no notice or consultation. Second session, therapist no-showed and they still charged me for it despite me sending a notice to their “support”, with a screen shot of me waiting in the Zoom room as soon as the no-show happened. Avoid this company

Kathryn is a phenomenal therapist. She really takes the time to get to know her clients and works diligently to help them face their challenges. I started having regular sessions with her more than a year ago when I was going through a very difficult time. With her help, I have been able to implement strategies and practices that have absolutely improved my quality of life. If you're looking for someone to talk to that genuinely cares about her clients, I implore you to look no further.

This review is not about the therapy I have received from Thriveworks. My therapist is wonderful. This is about their billing. My provider canceled one of our appointments due to being out of office and I was charge a late cancellation fee. When I called billing about it, I had to provide proof that my provider canceled the appointment even though she read through the notes to me and stated that my provider was out of office. Only after I provided a screenshot from my provider’s supervisor stating that my appointment was canceled due to my provider being out of office was the fee waived.

If I could give 0 stars, I would. Beware of their rescheduling fees and canceling fees. I have a medical emergency and need x-rays. I called Thriveworks, sent in documents to proving I have a medical emergency, need xrays, and they still tried to charge me $148 for rescheduling claiming, "I didn't give them the 8-48 hour required cancelation time." Wait, what?! There's no way I'd know 8-48 hours ago I'd have a medical emergency! DO NOT GO HERE! God forbid something happens to you where you need medical attention and their more concerned about applying those fees to you when you're already having a hard time. Definitely NOT supporting my mental health in any way. I will no longer be a client of theirs since money is more important than my physical or mental health

I have been going through a few issues for which I thought talking to someone outside my family would be beneficial. Getting signed up and scheduling an appointment is super quick and easy. I adore Rene and feel like even after my issues have resolved she is someone that I would like to continue talking to because she has really helped me feel so much better about life in general. I highly recommend it!!!

The company advertised that it is in network with my insurance provider but I got billed for over $600 since the claim was processed as out of network. My insurance company informed me that the provider is not properly credentialed which explained why it was processed as out of network. I was on hold for over an hour every time I called for anything. The person who answers the phone does not have any decision making authority and nothing ever gets resolved! It's been 6 months and the matter still hasn't been resolved.

The counselor we used was harsh and not at all helpful.

My therapist are really knowledgeable, helpful and understanding. The down side is if you miss an appointment it’s not like a normal Doctors office. They charge you an outlandish amount. My Therapist prescribed me some medication I took before a meeting and ending up missing the meeting so they charged me over a hundred dollars. If I didn’t like my therapist I would have gone to someone else. But now I just have to pay a big a— bill.
