I highly recommend the Westin Riverfront! Upon check-in, our room did not have a desk or table as described on the Marriott Bonvoy reservation website. Unfortunately, I needed a workspace in my room while my family was skiing. After 24 hours of back-and-forth discussions, the hotel staff came up with an excellent solution—they brought in a desk from their breakroom, which worked perfectly. I truly appreciated their creativity and effort to accommodate my request.||The workout facilities were excellent, with a great selection of high-quality equipment. It was a fantastic space to stay active during our trip.||We dined at the hotel restaurant, and while the staff were friendly and attentive, the food was just okay and felt overpriced for the quality. On the plus side, my family loved the convenience of the gondola and the ski valet service.||We chose not to rent a car this time, and it worked out well. The hotel offers a complimentary shuttle service around Avon, which was very convenient, though it ends at 10:00 PM.||Overall, it was a great stay, and we’ll definitely return!

This was the finest hospitality experience I've ever had at a Marriott-branded hotel. The attention to detail was impeccable, and every member of the staff went above and beyond to accommodate us at every turn. The property was spotless, adding to the overall comfort of our stay. A special shoutout to Solange from the concierge team for her outstanding assistance in planning our week's activities. Other standout team members include Holly, Seth, Travis, Rex K (shuttle), Jake/Jack (Ski Valet), Emma, and the rest of the shuttle staff. There are others who contributed to our wonderful experience but I can't recall their names. The service provided by the staff is the main reason we'll be returning for our next ski trip in February.||Suggestion: Consider adding another hot tub and an additional shuttle.

I had an absolutely fantastic stay at The Westin Avon! The rooms were spacious, modern, and impeccably clean, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, going above and beyond to ensure a memorable experience. The on-site amenities, including the pool and spa, were top-notch, and the proximity to Beaver Creek made it the perfect location for skiing and outdoor activities. I can't wait to return—highly recommend!

The location was super accessible to the public bus, the gondola to the mountain, etc. The room was ready at 4 but not earlier like we requested at reservation. But, they did give us a 1 hour extension on our check out. We were able to get our skis and free cookies while we waited for them to finish cleaning our room. The room was clean and very spacious. The kitchen was equipped just enough for our very basic needs.
There were dogs everywhere barking at each other in the hotel. Thankfully, they don't allow pets in the Riverfront Resort...although we saw two small dogs there.
The shuttle was an unexpected surprise and made it easy to get to and from Beaver Creek.
To get 5 stars...
1) We encountered issues with our key not allowing us into the main entrance door of the resort. The new clerk didn't know how to set up the resort keys.
2) The signage needs to be improved. It wasn't clear where to check in for the resort. It also wasn't clear what the resort amenities were (like the ski valet, etc). In the ski valet, they also needed signs to indicate how to request your equipment. We waited in the wrong line for several minutes before we figured it out.
3) The shower leaked onto the bathroom floor.
4) The bed was very firm and high in the middle...a bit uncomfortable for me. I'm not sure if all the beds are the same throughout the property.

All in all, we would return to this quiet property.

The hotel was wonderful. The restaurant & bar
had amazing cocktails! The free hot chocolate was a wonderful perk. Ski check right next
to the gondola can't be beat. The pool & infinity hot tubs had amazing views. The staff was very friendly and quick to clean the rooms. However, the massage I got at the spa was not one I'd repeat, and definitely not worth the cost.

We had high expectations for the Westin Beaver Creek, but unfortunately, our experience was far from what we hoped for. For the high price of staying at this resort, we expected top-notch service and amenities, but the reality fell short. From service issues to poor food quality, the stay was frustrating from start to finish, with our last night being the most disappointing.

On our final night, we planned a family movie night and attempted to purchase a movie "on demand" through the TV. After selecting a movie, we received an error instructing us to call the front desk. When called, we were told they were "out of that"—which was baffling for a supposedly on-demand service. After further clarification, we learned that the hotel offers DVDs and DVD players for guests, but they had run out of the movie we wanted. We found another movie, called again to request the DVD, and were told it would be sent up. It never arrived. Given the poor service throughout our stay, we didn’t bother calling again.

The ski valet service was another issue. We arrived early to get my daughter to her ski lesson, expecting to grab our gear and go. However, after asking for our skis, they were never brought out. After waiting for a while, we asked the staff where they were. They then realized they had brought out the wrong family's skis and ours were still unaccounted for. When they finally found our skis, they were missing our poles. Since we were running out of time, my wife and daughter had to take the shuttle without me while I stayed behind to sort it out. Turns out the valet had left the poles in our car instead of checking them in with the rest of our gear.

Luggage service was also frustrating. Upon arrival, we were told our bags would be delivered to our room and that we needed to be there to receive them. We waited a long time with no luggage, so my wife took our hungry kids to the lobby restaurant while I stayed behind. After another 15 minutes, I called the front desk to move things along. Called again 10 minutes later. Finally, our bags arrived just as I was giving up and leaving the room myself. I would have much rather taken them up myself than waste time waiting in the room.

Speaking of the lobby restaurant, the food was below average. The pretzel bites were overly dense and looked like dark fried chicken. The mustard sauce was overwhelmingly vinegary and unappetizing. The wings were overcooked and under-sauced. Service was inattentive, and we had to hunt down our server just to get the bill. After that experience, we canceled our dinner reservation at Stoke & Rye, not wanting to take another chance on the food.

For a resort of this caliber and the premium prices they charge, we expected much better service and attention to detail. Unfortunately, this stay was a major disappointment. The service failures were consistent throughout, and for the price we paid, it simply wasn't worth it. Unfortunately, we cannot recommend this hotel based on our experience, and we hope they improve their services to match the premium prices they charge.

One of the best hotels in Colorado. The experience was incredible! The views are amazing, rooms are great and the restaurant, food and bar service was excellent!
There is a gondola right outside that takes you to Bachelor Gulch landing to ski Beaver Creek!
I highly recommend checking out this hotel on your next stay to this area!

Visited the spa for services with my partner after undergoing cancer treatments as they have a relationship with Vail Health and Shaw Cancer Center. I was so grateful for this amazing opportunity and experience! The therapists were amazing and talented while the receptionists were friendly and helpful! What a wonderful place!
