2 years ago, I rescued my dog Binx from a shelter with the goal of having a full time adventure buddy to keep me company. It was important to me to make sure that he was well trained because I live a very active lifestyle and I needed to be sure that Binx could come everywhere with me. Thanks to Shane at The Training Company, Binx & I get to enjoy camping, hiking, road trips, and many other adventures together!! Shane taught me that obedience training is key to giving your dog the freedom he deserves while keeping him safe, well-mannered, & responsive. Nothing makes me happier than seeing my dog life the best life he can. This is something Shane prioritizes and it’s what I love most about The Training Company. I will always recommend The Training Company to anyone looking for dog training!

1000/5 isn’t possible but I can not Praise Shane and everything he does enough! Not only was the process and procedures simple and that of ease, but the way he articulates his work and ideas to you is so open and helpful. He listens to all feedback and explains in everything in depth breaking down things further for understanding. Don’t be afraid to ask him questions because all he has is answers! From simple training to one’s more personalized for our pet, we had Violet in The Outdoorsman Boarding program for about 3 weeks. We had multiple training sessions so that she would work with us, making the transition so much more easier. Violet entered our lives from the humane society and was left because she was too hyper and simply didn’t have the time for her. When we brought her to Shane she was a complete different dog she would do anything a puppy would do. The outcome couldn’t have been so much more surprising, as the day we picked her up she couldn’t have been more her goofy self!!! Shane and what his pack has done for us and our Violet has changed her and our lives for the better, it’s a sigh of relief knowing your dog and yourself have the utmost confidence. I can’t this enough but this is by far the BEST OF THE BEST and a huge thank you to Shane and Blaze for helping us out!!

I will forever thank Shane for helping Winston (my golden retriever) through a weird part in his little life. Having a young pup during Covid was of course great, but it unfortunately led to him being scared of other dogs (dog parks were closed, so I couldn’t socialize him) and also created separation anxiety when it was time to head back to my work in person. With Shane’s dedication, Winston is fully socialized and plays with other dogs in my complex, and handles being home alone so well. My baby is finally at peace! Shane was so kind and informative, and I will continue recommending him to other dog owners❤️

Shane is the most effective, patient, & human-friendly dog trainer I have ever met. My dog, Rocky, endured a double dog attack, which left him extremely dog reactive. Rocky’s reactivity started to affect our lifestyle & relationships. After doing a board and train with Shane, Rocky is a calmer, more confident, & disciplined dog! We are able to resume our social & adventurous lifestyle, and Shane’s one-on-one training made all the difference. He answered every question we had promptly, & ensured that we felt confident handling Rocky, which was key to bringing Rocky home & maintaining the results. I had my dog Josie for over a year. She is a great Dane & Belgian Mal mix. She is the sweetest thing but i could not get her to listen to any command I gave her. I've trained multiple dogs in the past, but I could not figure her out. The last thing i needed was her being in a situation where i needed her to listen and something bad happens. She could playfully jump and knock over a kid, eat harmful food off the counters, be in a bad situation at a dog park...I needed her to listen. I was getting so frustrated with her, that our relationship was not in a good place. I was debating on giving her away after i raised her from 7 weeks old. I got referred over to Shane from a friend. I decided to have him board her for 4 weeks. Best decision and investment I've ever done with Josie. At out 2 week check-in training session i couldn't believe how well she behaved, how she listened. She was a different dog. Shane explained everything so well, has always been there for support after the course, and now my dog respects and listens to me. I would have never taken her anywhere with me out of fear, now i enjoy taking her places. The mall, beach, boardwalk, doesn't matter... its a breeze with her. If you are on the fence about it, do it. I Promise you wont regret it. It saved me and Josies relationship.

By doing that, we needed proper training to make sure she was always safe and happy. Shane has not only trained her but taught us how to continue training at home with her!
