Dr. Farooqi is THE absolute best at what he does. 2.5 yrs of ankle surgeries with complications and this man was willing to step into a mess and do what he could to fix things (after many others couldn't). He's patient, caring, thorough, and brilliant. I would follow this doctor to the moon if necessary. I'm always in awe of his overall demeanor as a surgeon, which is far above the rest.

Steadman's lobby is peaceful, soothing, calming, and accommodating with the coffee bar, water cooler, fireplace, and calming music. Their staff is always helpful and friendly. Eric (the medical assistant) is really kind and always happy to see patients. The care at Steadman is top-notch, and I'm beyond grateful for their care and support in my ankle injury.

Dr. Sachar amputated the end of my right middle finger (distal). After a short, forward, but friendly consultation with Dr Sachar, it was agreed my best option was amputation. I was confident this was the right choice and doctor. The surgery was surprisingly fast and painless. I will have a shorter but fully functional finger. The administration was prompt and thourough throughout the process and tailored towards my specific needs. As a diesel mechanic my hands are my livelihood and they did an exceptional job. So thank you Dr. Sachar, the Sachar team, and the rest of the staff at the Steadman Clinic.

The doctor I saw did absolutely nothing for me but charge me $800 for nothing. He spent less than 5 minutes in the room with me and now I can't get my referrals from this place so I can be seen in my home town. If you don't live there, BEWARE, they only care for you if you are a resident and repeat patient.

I have had several procedures at the Vail location and had wonderful experiences with world class doctors. Unfortunately my experiences at the Basalt Steadman clinic were the opposite and not what I expected from a world renowned business. The staff and medical team were rude and vague in explanations. To get any information on my imaging I had to pester them with days worth of phone calls while waiting in significant pain, with no calls back. I had to be a full on active advocate for myself to get any answers or path forward. I was never actually able to talk to a doctor and only was able to consult briefly with the PA for a complex issue. This is very disappointing and surprising after being a long time patient in Vail. I will drive the extra 2 hours to go to Vail from now on.

Although the doctors and nurses at my sister's appointment were beyond kind and knowledgeable the receptionist Savannah was one of the most rude unwelcoming people I have ever encountered. From the moment we arrived we were treated absolutely terrible with an extremely lack of empathy or compassion regarding our situation. Savannah made us feel lesser then throughout the entire process with both an extremely rude tone, as well as numerous back handed comments regarding insurance and finances. Never have I ever been treated so poorly by a healthcare professional. I have heard so many great things about The Steadman Clinic and our experience has left a sour taste in all of our mouths too say the least. I don't see any of us coming back in the future regarding these events.
