Classy bar with fabulous live fire places all roaring in different places of the first floor! We just stopped for drinks and stayed for the delicious food. Thank you to the accommodating wait staff. They added tables when our party grew and were generally pleasant, professional, and attentive! This was a fun for a night cap and I can’t wait to return to stay and dance at future pop-up events!

We had a great trip over the weekend. The hotel is beautiful and the room was nice. The room was spacious. The hotel gym is one of the best I have ever seen and the hotel is conveniently walkable to town. The free shuttle was great to/from the airport. My only complaint about the room is that we had people from housekeeping trying to enter our room at 8:30 at night (both nights)- once without knocking which was really awkward. ||We had a snack and a drink at the hotel bar which was insanely priced- the drink was just ok, but was $28. ||The reason for my poor review stems from after the trip. We did not touch anything in the mini bar- I don't even know what was in there and we could never find a price list for even curiosity. We didn't even drink the bedside waters at night for turndown because we not sure if there was a charge for them. We were mysteriously charged by the hotel for using the mini bar which I found on my bill after the stay. I have called every day over the last 3 days to understand what the charge was for and to get it reversed. I keep getting sent to a voicemail that is full and my requests to speak to a manager have not been completed. I will be disputing this charge with my CC company because they will not talk to me about this issue or how to reverse this charge. This is not up to par with a 5 star hotel nor reflective of our on-site experience. It has put a sour very end to an otherwise nice weekend. Watch for unexplained charges after staying here on your hotel bill!

Five Stars but not perfect. |I stayed in a “residence” suite for one night during Christmas 2024. The room incredibly comfortable compared to the condo I had been renting—impeccably clean, and I fell asleep easily beneath the delicious pressed sheets with tons of pillows…the rooms included a dining room, small living/tv room kitchen, master bedroom and a smaller bedroom…a generous master bath with steam shower and big tub…the wall between the tub and master opened up easily so i could speak with my spouse during a long-hot bath which was very nice…unfortunately| they stocked the bath with very few towels. The phone in the master bedroom did not work. I found the menu for the climate control impossible to navigate, guest-services was overwhelmed with requests over the busy holiday. And they were unable to find me a fan. One odd thing is that the hotel is built into the mountainside, so although i took an elevator to the third floor, my room was still on ground level. The bedroom windows are actually doors—which is cool because you can enter and exit the hotel without entering the lobby but might be odd for some to open a window and have passers-by on the street staring into your bedroom (this was not much different than the condo i had been staying at). Anyway, it was nice to have a door instead of a window because it allowed for much more air flow. The room service menu was somewhat limited but pretty great by Colorado standards though not as fresh and deliscious as you would expect in NY…

Front desk was great, but private dining was terrible, expensive and bad basic food, the guy who takes the phones calls are super rude, I made a specific request because of a health problem I have, and while front desk had accommodate me the day before, private dining was rude, said he never would do that and was sarcastic. Also took 1h to get a tea. Everyone else was great, concierge they are so sweet and fast, bellman was a great guy.

Our family spent Thanksgiving weekend here and it was just perfect. The hotel has many thought out details such as the little library for children to pick out their bedtime stories every night and stuffed animals of the house dog, Kitty. We had breakfast at the dining room once but realized it was too easy to get comfortable and make ourselves late to the kids’ ski school drop off. From the second day on, we opted for the grab and go breakfast from the bar and the food was equally delicious (be sure to try the biscuit). I enjoyed having a chat with the friendly staff, especially Antonia who was a joy to chat with every morning. She was so kind and patient with my 3 wild little children who had too much fun making too many cups of tea and leaving endless crumbs.

We also looked forward to the s’mores and hot chocolate every evening after a long day of skiing. My son loved reading by the fire every night after dinner. Everything was just so warm and welcoming. Thank you for your hospitality!

Terrible experience. Having booked one year ago, we were shocked to check-in to a king room for a family of 4. We received absolutely no intro to the hotel by Lucia. We didn’t even know where the elevator was. No discussion of WiFi, breakfast, pool, fitness. She did ask if we wanted a newspaper. We asked for the WSJ. It never arrived until day 4 when I specifically asked why they had bothered to ask if they were not planning to bring it. When I called the reception desk from my king room on that first day, someone named Jerry told me he could send up cots for my teens as they had no other rooms. I told him that was unacceptable. Miraculously, a room with two beds became available. He said he wanted to do something for us because he felt bad and I never, ever heard from him again. Liberty called once and I returned her call and then never, ever heard from her again. I wrote two notes to reception - blood splatter in the bathroom (we weren’t bleeding) and a clogged drain and some leftover candy that wasn’t ours (read: not clean). They said a manager would be in touch. Never heard from anyone. Beds are tiny. There were also children running and screaming and banging on doors at night. No security, no staff to be seen. The term butler is a misnomer. Takes forever to materialize water. I never accept room cleaning and instead just change towels. I called and waited +1 hour for towel change. Breakfast is $70 pp for nothing special.

It’s a shame, because it’s a great location, walkable to town, nice property and pool. As mentioned, the lobby is stuffed with overfilled and pretentious apres-ers from outside. There is no place for actual guests to relax and enjoy a drink. Agree with previous reviewer, no one speaks English except for drivers / valet who were excellent. It’s a fledgling staff who don’t know how to run a hotel. Management is non-existent. Did enjoy pool / gym. Christie’s lost my daughters’ ski boots and that was a huge fiasco that they handled poorly. Won’t ever come back especially at 2k + per night.

If you are here to party hard this is the place for you, less so if you want a relaxing weekend get away!!

So there were some positive and some relatively significant negatives of our stay.

Positives

1) valet was excellent
2) good location close to town
3) staff were all pleasant and efficient
4) nice heated outdoor pool

Negatives

1) the apres ski party that pumped hard house into our room for 5 hours - it was unbelievably loud. There was no warning about this and we were basically just told tough luck by the hotel.

It’s just worth the price. When you’re paying $4,000 a night, they tell you to pack and move then you don’t have to move then you have to move resulting in packing and unpack 4 times, then resulting in them losing your luggage until 2am while transferring it to your new room. The chaos from Snow Lodge is unbearable. $68 for a salmon Ceaser salad not including service charge and tip.
Had random charges added to my cc everyday that the front desk could not explain started out as $200 a day in incidentals then went to $1200 then to $200 a day.

Don’t waste your time here. I’ve been coming to Aspen for over 25 years there are better places to stay that respect there guests and you don’t have to see wasted clowns people completely out of there minds running around the hotel from snow lodge
