This is a great deal for the price! The rooms are nicely decorated and comfortable. The check-in process was a breeze, and the location is right within the walkable parts of downtown Pagosa Springs. The restaurant and bar on site is gorgeous as well. The bartender, Michael, was incredibly kind and helpful even though I wandered in a few minutes before closing on Superbowl Sunday.

I was very impressed with this place! Best Motel I have ever stayed in my life! I liked it so much that I decided to extend my stay for another 2 nights. The rooms are a bit small and simple, but yet super elegant and clean. The bed is very comfortable, making it perfect to crash after skiing all day at Wolf Creek. They don't have staff on site, and the check in is all done electronically through your phone. But they are very easy to reach as I had to call them a few times after locking myself out. My interaction with them was very pleasant. I love that the rooms have hardwood floor instead of carpets. I also loved the coffee set up they have. I'm definitely staying there again next time I come skiing at Wolf Creek.

This has got to be my favorite go to stay at Pagosa Springs. The rooms are a slice of luxury, contemporary design, and most importantly a clean environment. The rooms have all of the necessities and beyond including the most delicious pour over coffee for the mornings. The wall heaters are clearly new and work like a wonder when it’s frozen outside. The contactless check in and check out is ideal for travelers coming from far away. I love that they have the lounge on site - Neon Mallard. This place is walkable too, so many local bars and stores nearby. Highly recommend.

The room was very clean. The bathroom is up to date and also very clean. Bed was very comfortable. I rarely ever get real sleep while camping or staying in a hotel and I slept like a log. That great sleep could be a direct effect from the delicious old fashion that I had at the amazing Neon Mallard. Very impressed with both the motel and the Neon Mallard. Will for sure stay again in the future if need be.

This place is super cute. My room was tidy and they thought of everything. It was perfect for my solo stay. And that bar is simply fantastic. I really enjoyed it and felt well taken care of the whole time. It's also walkable to everything. I am glad I stayed there. Thank you!

I walked into The Nightingale looking for a room. I was informed by the bar-tender / owner that all bookings are done on line. He said to me "what you're going to do is go on-line" . I immediately stopped listening at that point. These "touchless" and "on-line only" motels bug the crud out of me. The guy kept talking...without taking a break from crafting a hipster cocktail for the single customer in the place. It was clear that his rap about the "touchless" procedures was well practiced. I questioned him about the potential for a SNAFU with no front desk. He made a comment about some of our "age challenged customers" and how they still liked to "have contact". The bartender / owner turned me off in less than 1 minute. I'm obviously not cool enough to stay at The Nightingale...and I never will. Good job Bartender / Owner. I expect more service and less attitude from my motel stays.

I liked the process of checking in via text and receiving an access code for the room. The room was exceptionally clean and modern. We stayed in the patio suite and it was spacious for the three of us. I loved the pour over coffee and enjoying the living room while the rest of my family slept in after a long day of hiking the day prior. The room had everything we needed and more. The only thing I wish it had was a throw blanket on the couch. Otherwise, we would be sure to stay here again on our next trip.

This hotel reminds me of the Mountain Modern in Jackson Hole. Hotel has a lot of history but has been updated with a cool vibe. The rooms are small but efficient and clean. The kitchenette was perfect for simple breakfast and coffee. We’d totally stay here again.
