Super cool to see this little piece of history! Easy area to hike around and check out more old buildings. Sad it isn't restored/maintained a little more, but maybe that helps keep the crowds away. Could definitely at least use a few more signs talking about the old buildings, use, history, etc.

The Jessie Mine area is a short walk from the Gold Run parking lot. The remaining structure sorted and processed mined rock for gold. There is a creek and the area is dog friendly. A good place to begin a longer hike into the mining area.
