We initially came to this location due to urgency from the huge storm. So happy that we did! It was such a nice place! The staff was awesome, the room was clean, comfortable, and affordable. Due to the storm, we extended our stay another day, they didn't price gouge us. They were seriously wonderful, the internet went out due to the storm but we were safe and warm with power and hot water. We were very thankful! There was a little store we could walk to for some essential, the supermarket was pricey but convenient. We will definitely stop here again in the future! I would definitely recommend it to anyone! Nice hidden gem!!! Thank you folks!

We stayed one night at the Angler Hotel in Dunsmuir. Comfortable beds, pillows and towels. The room was very quiet. Easy access off Hwy5. The staff were friendly and helpful. They recommended Seven Suns Coffee & Cafe in Mt Shasta just 10 min away. Excellent espresso and breakfast burrito! I would highly recommend this hotel and would stay here again without hesitation.Exvellent

Excellent room! King size bed was so comfortable! Everything was Super clean! We decided to stay an extra day just because of the great room! We did not have reservations, which is recommended, but they still had a room for us. Great service! The Angler Lodge is an amazing find! We will definitely go back again!)

Great hotel!

This is a self service hotel, so you check in online and not in a lobby. You’ll get a code that you will use to enter your room. The folks running the hotel are very quick to answer any questions, responding to both calls and texts.

The rooms are nice and clean. TV was a good size. There’s a microwave and a refrigerator. There is a coffee maker as well.

Overall, this is a nice hotel to stay at!

Very nice motel. Clean rooms and they smelled good. The decor was nice. The rooms were large. Comfy beds and pillows. The check in process is contactless but it was super easy and convenient. You can do the check in process on your phone and they text you the room number and your code to get in the room. Will definitely be staying there again next time we are in the area.

It was late when I decided to stop. After making a reservation, I was a bit skeptical and unsure of the quiet dark location. I received a code to enter my room and I was pleasantly surprised. It was clean, comfy and the bed extremely comfortable. Often, with an affordable room, it's a crap shoot. This one is worth putting a pin in!!

A quick stop through the mountains. Quiet location. Love the sound of the trains coming through. Love that distant horn. Rooms are clean. This is a virtual check in. My phone was acting up so the contact phone number and assistance at the other end was immensely helpful in getting into the room. A very comfortable stay. Will be back on many more of our trips.

Stayed one night returning from a trip along the Oregon coast. This is the first time my wife and I have ever experienced a check in via text messages. We found it easy and convenient. The room was very updated and the a/c unit was quiet and efficient. We highly recommend the Angler Lodge for travelers looking for a nice place to stay in Dunsmuir.
