It's a good program for those who need it. Woefully underfunded but they do what they can with what they have. I only had indirect experience with them but the client was successful for as long as he was in their program. He complained about it the whole time but that's probably typical. But his life got exponentially better while he was in the program. Unfortunately it was short-lived and after he was no longer mandated to attend Telecare he went right back to being non-compliant with medication and taking drugs and then homeless again. But I don't blame Telecare for that. While he was in Telecare he got himself in college finished several credits had his own place to live and was happiest I've seen him since he was a kid. I wish it was more like a five or ten year program. That's probably what's needed but in a free Society it's a difficult legal and moral issue.
