Price: $450
My Taxes: Simple
She’s a nice woman, she really tried to help my situation which is why I won’t give 1 star. But when she told me the price to complete my taxes was $450 and told me I needed to set up the payment to the IRS myself, I almost lost it. My taxes were simple to complete as I did them on Turbo tax and came up with the same results. I went to her to help me lower my taxes or to see if a pro could come up with a different conclusion. I was wrong. I also wanted help with setting up a payment method but she said I could do it on my own.
Once I told her I would complete them on my own she charged $100 (yes the price was in bold for the service she gave me and I fully understood)
But $100 for 15 mins of punching numbers into a comp is ridiculous. Borderline robbery. $50 at most is fair.
Won’t be coming back and I highly recommend y’all use Turbo Tax too. It’s pain free and won’t be anywhere near $450.
