Horrible, unprofessional, and rude.
I’ve been going here on and off for a couple years (2-3), with no issues. I’ve never missed an appointment without a call, never been late, but the ONE time. The one time I have an emergency at home, I’m stuck with a $150 fee.
My therapist has cancelled on me 5 minutes before my appointment, as I’m sitting in the parking lot, did they have to pay a $150 fee?
No hate toward my therapist, they’re very professional and respectful. Can’t say the same for management or front desk. But when my fiancé is in the emergency room and I haven’t slept, it’s the worst thing in the world.
Save your time, save your money. They will do the same to you.

I didn't get a good feeling here. The space is dingy, poor lit and has odd layout. I couldn't imagine bringing my child here to feel comfortable. Counselor was student, which I know is important to allow training but I didn't feel like she was informed well of our case. With something serious I will go elsewhere

Very unprofessional business. Mental health is very important! I was forgotten about two times in lobby. Four other times they had me going in circles. I would not recommend this place. The way I was treated this business should be closed down. Please becareful if you go there.

Prior to COVID, we had been making appointments every other week with no problem for over 2 years. I was late to 1 appointment despite making an attempt to let the front end know that I'm on my way while stuck in traffic with the 198 being backed up from an accident. I had been coming from Hanford for well over 2 years and hadn't been late or missed a single appointment until that day and was immediately taken off their scheduled appointments.

Then suddenly, COVID hits and making appointments through this clinic became an extremely difficult task.

My son had an appointment refused because we weren't wearing masks. We were never informed by phone or in person. Masks were never offered or provided either. On top of that, "Dr." Ian Ortiz-Nance himself was not masked yet required patients to be masked?

At one point, there was a heat advisory in effect, and with COVID, all patients were required to wait outside even if you had an appointment. NOBODY came out to tell us that our appointment had been CANCELED nor wwre they willing to work with us. My son kept asking what's taking so long and couldn't take waiting in the heat anymore, so he went to the door to try to find out what was going on. Once we found out, my son's appointment was canceled. I asked why, and nobody in the front end, including "Dr Ian," offered a reason or a way to remedy the situation. No apologies, nothing.

I can not and will not continue to bring my child to this facility after everything I've seen.

There is no stability in the front end either. I've seen far too many AMAZING receptionists come and just go.

If this is how you treat your patients, Dr. Ian, without any empathy or willingness to work with us, then you're going to have a hard time continuing to get clients.

I would not recommend this facility to anyone, even if it's your only option.

I called my health insurance provider to know about what services can provide Autism or ADHD diagnoses since other therapists aren't "qualified" for it and I was told this is the place to come since these services are very limited and hardly here. To sum up this review, it seems promising but it is not. I called the front desk staff and they were nice with me. They offered the soonest appointment they had available in the same month. I had to arrive 15 minutes earlier to go over the full registration process of filling out papers. I was given an appointment with Maria Ortiz. She seemed to be understanding but I felt that she didn't let me completely finish on the signs of Autism I would tell her. She took notes during our session with a folded paper and had my information on a tablet. She didn't let me tell her that I would repeat the same words or phrases that are mostly irrelevant and I would have my way of communication in my younger years. She didn't let me tell her that my senses get overwhelmed or I don't like when a crew neck style shirt rubs against my neck. She didn't let me tell her that I prefer being barefoot and how I prefer no socks/shoes since it overloads my senses. She didn't let me tell her that I see patterns in objects and that I easily remember phone numbers. She didn't let tell her that I want things in order or neatly put. She didn't give me a chance to let her know that I tried seeking services in the Central Valley Regional Center both Fresno and Visalia but I was rejected and was told that I was mildly Autistic even with all the proof they asked. I also didn't like the idea that Mrs. Ortiz told me that I seemed "normal" at first. I may seem like it but only I know how I struggle or what what my family has to deal with on a daily basis! She also didn't respect my back story on how I would get bullied for my motor tics growing up and for oversharing or being very quiet/shy. She then told me that I would to get IQ tests done since there isn't any Spectrum tests for adults. She told me that it would take 2 or 3 sessions since I am not local to the area. She said that I would be placed on a waiting list. I left with more questions than answers. I felt that I was so rushed to the point of her wanting to kick me out of there! The environment felt so claustrophobic and very questionable. What didn't sit right the most with me is that the "clinician" that would do the testing with me would be a student from Fresno. She told me that it would be someone from there since they all graduated from there. I don't like the idea of someone with no prior experience to deal with your diagnosis. I feel that the patient has a right to decide on that if not please hire people with that has dealt with it previously. She seems to have dismiss most of my claims. All of the people in this place didn't seem to be in the right headspace. Mrs. Ortiz had a questionable fashion sense in where she was only wearing one sock on her foot. The first two purple chairs in the waiting room close to the TV had stains or were dirty. The carpet of the waiting room is very unusual to say the least. You aren't allowed to take in food/beverages inside and photos of the place. The front lobby only has a few chairs. Which I thought is really shady and odd. People have a right to get familiar with an environment they are seeking services in. If you want to be a human guinea pig and like a weird or eerie environment then I recommend here!! They have ill intentions!!!! They put you last here!!

My wife and I are unfortunately are separating and wanted our 12 year son to get some therapy regarding his feelings regarding the seperation. Yesterday was the 3rd session and it was a nightmare. The clinician named Kameron stated to my wife that because our son had mentioned that we had disciplined him over the years he had to report it to the authorities. This is outrageous, we took our son here to help him understand his feelings and instead get threaten with cps. Very unprofessional. Don't go there!

Well, after reading all of the horrible reviews, I still had no choice to go to this place, as these types of services are very limited in our area.
Without me sharing medical information on my son, he went thru some assessments with a Doctor on staff. Some staff members were rude, others were very polite. After my insurance paid for these assessments, I was given a two page letter of the outcome.
I had to go back and ask for a more detailed report on the testing that was done on my Son, so we could seek services elsewhere. I've been waiting two weeks and was just told that if i wanted the more detailed reports, they would have to run it thru my insurance (private) again, because the Doctor would have to start working on it again? Wait how did you give me a two page report without working on it? It baffles me that insurance has to be billed again for something that already should have been completed.

My doctor is fantastic. Was kicked out because I missed two appoints over one year. The last appointment was rescheduled with out notifying me, because of a holiday so I really didn’t miss it. Tried to get back on the schedule and couldn’t get in. I spent a year establishing rapport with the doctor feels like a waste of time. Beware of the disorganization in the office and the lack of grace and empathy for other schedules. Other reviews are had the same challenges.
