After posting less than 2 weeks ago about how they baited me in with certain mileage rates, then switched me to a lower one without notifying me at all about the change, THEY GOT MY POST TAKEN DOWN.
So, I'm posting again to let people know not to go here. It's not good communication at all. They will change your pay rates per mile without telling you or notifying you, which is illegal. They will then offer to pay you back double to shut you up.
They won't tell you that the rates they show you are for otr only, and dedicated accounts will pay you less in some instances.
Sometimes, they will split your round trip loads and put one on a check, then the other half on the next week, even if completed before the pay cutoff time.
If you aren't legally married, they will not allow your partner to be on health insurance even if the state recognizes domestic partners for it.
My driver leaders boss actually told me she could change my mileage rates without notifying me and when I called her out she escalated the call to her bosses.
Bait and switch, smoke and mirrors, higher ups who lie to your face, willing to take money out of your pocket for no reason or without giving you a day in the matter. Shame on you Swift, for being a transportation tycoon that is still willing to steal money from employees' pockets to line yours even more.
One week, after being jerked around, and they kept giving me loads them pulling them from me, I ended up making a whooping 431 dollars in a week! NOBODY CAN LIVE OFF THAT!!!
I drove a little over 14,000 miles foe them in less than 3 weeks of being a solo driver and made less than I would have working for Starbucks selling coffee.

Be careful trying to get your CDL here as a veteran. If they tell you they allow you to go through the school to "honor our Vets" so long as you pass, they lied.

I passed every test first try and did 5 hair and urine drug tests for them, no problem. The day of orientation they waited until 2pm after I used the restroom to take me to my 6th drug test in 8 weeks and marked it as a positive refusal when I couldn't use the restroom and sent me a several thousand dollar bill and kicked me to the curb.

Just go somewhere else. The school and the instructors were great! But Swift seems to have no qualms building their fortune on shady business and taking advantage of people

Listen this is NOT a place to get your CDL unless you want to fight with SWIFT to get a ride back to the so called school, a student took the test and he was the last one from the group he called them took pick him up at MVD and they asked him “did you pass? No “ SORRY YOU NEED TO TAKE UBER BACK OR WALK BACK TO GRAB YOUR STUFF” he told her he was staying at Primer Hotel on 83rd ave and McDowell rd. This poor guy had no money nothing and they told to take UBER REALLY so he walked from 247th ave and Lower Buckeye rd. When he got there they told him To grab he’s personal belongings and leave. So if you go don’t say no one told you so DONT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE FOR YOUR CDL BECAUSE NOW THEY OWN YOU YESSSSS OWN YOU....

Shame, the recruiters (drivers) are completely inadequate! In a telephone conversation one sentence, in an email correspondence - completely different! Looks like scammers! Beware!!!!! For such a large company not to have a personnel quality control group is unacceptable!!! I repeat - beware!!!!

They are not looking after drivers. I found out the hard way. Drivers on disability are not thought about anymore. THE HARTFORD ask for money every week SWIFT send them money every week. But getting ur payments from THE HARTFORD is like running thru land mines. Stay away. Stay away. Stay away.

I drove for Swift Was based out of Atlanta, and then Memphis Great company had a good experience with them I would recommend them I would try for Swift again

This company needs to go out of business they control and manipulate the rates in the country while holding on to most of the freight them and jb hunt are the biggest problems we have in the trucking industry they get negative. -10 ?

First time I ever went to that Terminal and that place is huge. The driver's lounge is pretty big,would be nice if we can watch tv. The internet is pretty good. Dispatchers are very friendly,as well as the gentlemen at the fuel island. Would love to go back to Phoenix and relax there for a few days.
