Simply NO. Their $70 online course is taught by a glitchy AI that reads text you can find online or YouTube. After completing the course and getting the certificate (that says Ontario Security Guard License Training btw) I was not even remotely confident in operating a forklift (They didn't even teach you about the 3 fork operating knobs!) I had to dump Surge's certificate and go to a physical school (Forklift Academy Atlanta) and re-learn from a physical teacher whatever Surge Safety and Forklift Training was even trying to teach and get trained first hand on using an actual forklift. Anyone could have put Surge's course together in a week, make quizzes, have an AI bot read some words, and charge $70 for it. They don't answer their phones. They don't answer their emails. And as far as i can tell they don't seem to have a training location or provide hands on training despite saying that "practical is included". I can't get in touch with anyone to verify this. At this point its too late...

If you don't know anything about forklifts i do not recommend Surge Safety and Forklift Training. Go to a physical school. I ended up going to Forklift Academy Atlanta and was very satisfied and was given real world experience in operating one by a talented teacher. No they did not pay me or ask me to leave a bad review. I tried both services with opposite results. In Surge's case I got a disappointing product and I just don't want anyone else to waste their time or their money.

-10/14/24 I emailed them inquiring about Hands on Training after completing the course. NO RESPONSE
-10/17/24 Called their 943 Number to ask about Hands on Training-- NO RESPONSE --will send email
-10/17/24 I followed up on my previous email about Hands on Training and received NO RESPONSE as of 11/14/2024 A full month after followup
