Dr. Shevitz listens to what I have to say & what I suggest & we make decisions together. I’m very happy to have him. I’ve had many psychiatrists in my past 30+ years of treating my major depression with treatment resistance. I’ve had a handful I truly were happy with. Many that were good & I was doing well & stayed with them & 2 I fired. You can’t ever retire, Dr. Shevitz! Ha-ha! And I have a niece who’s a psychiatrist & researched back when psychiatrist were hard to find. She recommended a few but Dr. Shevitz was on the top of the list. I’m glad he had availability when psychiatrist were in such high demand & hard to find.

Very polite Dr. Shevitz. He takes time to listen and help his patients concerns.

Dr. Shevitz is truly a wonderful doctor. He has really worked with me to help me find the best treatment for myself. While some doctors are quick to just prescribe a pill for a problem, Dr. Shevitz has been very good about communicating with me to learn where the real issues lie and develop an ongoing and comprehensive treatment system that is working very well. I truly enjoy our appointments because I feel like he has a genuine concern for me as a patient and always does his best to address any concerns I may have and provide as much information as possible on the treatments discussed. Stewart Shevitz was very standoffish from the beginning of the telehealth call. He did not appear to want to help and seemed uncomfortable. Was not willing to provide alternatives for my condition and said, "Due to your medication history, nothing will help you" then said we should end our visit and hung up.

This was my first visit with lifeStance. It was a video appointment. I could not find my email with access to the portal. Dr. Shevitz called me because I was late to the appointment. He walked me through log on. That was above and beyond his job. That shows me that he cares for his patients. Of all my doctors appointments in Georgia during the 9 months I have lived here, this is the first that made me think maybe I am making some progress. Maybe there are doctors that care.
