This hotel is perfect. It is a 5 minute walk to the middle of Aspen. It is clean, well managed, and most of the time has availability. They offer coffee or warm apple cider all day (which I recommend). They are friendly and if you are late, they will have your key waiting for you outside.

Also, they have a fridge/freezer in their rooms, which is always useful.

The hotel is very nice, and well kept. It offers great value among other expensive places. The stuff are friendly, and the property is well run. The room is clean, they have nice breakfast. The hobby is cozy, has a piano, fireplace, and cozy sofa and lots of books. They have a nice heated pool and a steam room. Exceed my expectations. The location is good, five minutes walk away from a bus stop of the Aspen bus system.

The hotel is quaint, and the intimate surroundings made it easy to meet other quests. The pool and flowers were beautiful with some mountain views. The staff was accommodating. The location was near bike trails, and it had a rack to lock your bikes in a fairly secure area. There is no air- conditioning in many mountain resorts, so we kept the windows open. It got a little warm at times, but the ceiling fan was there for use. The mattresses were ok with clean linens. The kitchenette was appreciated. Very clean unit built in the 70s? I liked that unique boutique charm. Downstairs breakfast was more than adequate with good coffee. Parking can be a challenge when slots are taken. But street parking can be found. The area seemed totally safe. It's likely the best value in town with a nice vibe.

My family and a small portion of my son’s hockey team decided to stay at the St. Moritz for the close proximity to the hockey arena. On Saturday night 10/26/24 we enjoyed a team dinner and swim outside on the patio at 5pm, at 7pm the owner of the Moritz (who lives on the property) closed the pool (pool time as stated on the property is 9pm closure)our kids decided to continue playing hide and seek outside as they should at 12yo. The owner repeatedly yelled at kids “where are your parents” who were all on the patio supervising. The team then decided to play football on a quiet secluded street off property (because of the owner)while being supervised by 12 parents. The owner yelled at the kids and parents on multiple occasions to tell us this is unacceptable behavior, we were “terrible parents”, and he was going to “kick us out”. When the owner was asked about quiet times as stated in the hotel to be 10pm he continued to say we were bad parents and this was all unacceptable.
The owner who lives in the property does not seem to be family friendly, he was not open to reason or discussion, he did not seem to be concerned to kick out multiple families with small children to the street even though no violation had been made per the rules.
I would like to add I have been in many situations with hockey teams riding elevators, ding dong ditching, and generally trashing hotels. Our small team was respectful and simply trying to play outside at respectable hours at moderate noise levels.
This was a very disappointing situation and experience. I will never return or recommend.
The staff working reception at check in was extremely professional and pilot. Wish I could say the same for ownership.

We had a great experience. We were coming into town for a wedding but didn't want to pay an arm and a leg. The 2 br condo was a perfect option for the family. The staff was super accommodating and put a pack and play in our room for our little one as well. Everything was very walkable from here and really we couldn't have asked for much more. Great experience staying here.

A beautiful hotel and my moms favorite of all we stayed at in Colorado. We stayed in both budget and luxury hotels but this was adorable. In European style, the rooms are snug but plenty of space. The breakfast included a lot of delicious fresh fruit. The pool was adorable! Small but was well heated to swim even in early morning autumn. The location is close to town but quiet. Everyone working there was so friendly and helpful.

It's a small hotel with a European vibe, rooms were a bit small but comfortable. It's near downtown and took around 7 minutes to walk. The staff was very friendly. Plenty of free road side parking available. It also has a heated pool. The best part was the free wine front office staff offered.

Especially when you consider the price and the fact this is in Aspen, this is definitely a five star experience for a hostel. Everything including the shared bathroom is immaculately clean. The lobby is very comfortable and inviting with free wine during happy hour, cookies, lemonade, newspapers, and great leather chairs you can sink into. The front desk person was wonderfully friendly and helpful, giving us all kinds of great advice. There’s a pool, sauna, in-room fridge … our room with twin beds is small but fine. The bathroom has soap, shampoo, mouthwash, earplugs, and disposable razors. Great!
