My daughter Georgia started at Southern Arc in 2023. I was so nervous about her joining their Dance Without Limits class as she is very physically disabled and non-verbal. Paulo and Will assured me she would do great and they were so right. It's incredible how much their class has positively impacted my daughter. The social skills she's acquired have transferred over into other areas of her life & she has developed patience, respect, and understanding for her teacher and classmates. Her peers in the class help her in all the ways they can to include her and have her be a part of the experience. The inclusive environment of the entire school has genuinely impressed me as a special needs parent who struggles to find that type of acceptance of my daughter anywhere else. I am so grateful that Will & Paulo have created this safe space for my differently abled kiddo. 🩵

My daughter loves the dance without limits class. The class is very well structured. The entire studio is clean, welcoming, and well run. The communication is clear. The instructors are kind and professional. The entire environment is healthy and positive. They are a very inclusive studio. I was absolutely shocked when they included my daughter in their big Nutcracker performance. She loves it so much that she wants to take typical dance classes. When I talked to them about this, the response was welcoming and a resounding "bring her on! We cannot wait!". What I also love is that they have healthy policies regarding illnesses. If a dancer is sick, they want them to stay home and get better. They do not want to get others sick. They even follow this for shows. That is so refreshing and has the best interests of everyone. This studio is absolutely wonderful.

We have been a part of the Southern Arc Dance family since 2017. We absolutely love everyone there! My daughters have taken several classes every year (ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop), and have always enjoyed the class and the instructors. The other dancers and families are wonderful as well. It is a fantastic community to be a part of.

Southern Arc Dance Center is a great place for my daughter to start dancing at 3 yr old. They are patient & kind & able to work with her through anxiety. The community of dancers & their supporters are nice & welcoming.

Our daughter attended the Dance Without Limits class, and I was very disappointed. This studio has no idea of the abilities of the children that this program is suppose to be focused on. I was completely embarrassed both times I have been. They were rude in the way they communicated and we will not be returning to this awful program. I am very upset because my daughter does love dance and was excited to go both times, but I will not allow them to embarrass her like that again.

Paulo and Will, I’d like to take a moment to thank you publicly for what you do for our children, community and dance parents. Southern Arc is a safe haven for everyone and I mean EVERYONE! You set the tone for how welcoming, inclusive, diverse, loving and open the environment is and how friendly and supportive folks should be and are. For some, this is the only place they can be their true selves and they feel safe doing so. For many, this has been the only outlet through this very trying year. For others it’s a second home.

This studio has been fantastic for my daughter. The instructors are great and Will and Paulo are truly wonderful people who love what they do!
