Several washers & dryers out of order. Clean. Has an attendant. Restroom. No snacks or drinks but gas station close by. Coin changers were out of money; owner came fairly quickly to get them going. We had a lot of laundry and spent A LOT of $$. Other than the laundry attendant staring at us almost the entire time, it wasn’t too bad of an experience.

Happy how early it’s open! The machines were clean. I witness the attendant clean the washers and rinse it which is very nice compared to other places. I also really appreciated the ‘no pet blankets’ sign. I don’t have to worry about my CLEAN clothes getting other peoples animals hair stuck on them. Thank you for that! Also really open environment which is nice. Dryers were a hit or miss, but I didn’t mind it cause they dried a good 95%. Staff was also welcoming and friendly!

The friendliest laundry in Alamosa, with a proprietor and assistants who are extremely helpful. The machines are not new, but I found all work very well. I will continue to do my wash here💕

Do not go here, and don't waste your money. We went to do our laundry here after moving to the area. I went in with 2 regular loads, 4 comforters and sleeping bags and $75. $25 to wash it all wasn't bad at all, and at first the lady was really friendly. After 45 minutes of our stuff being in the dryer, it wasn't even warm. So we say something to the attendant, who is now less helpful. She says it just takes a while because they are big blankets. Yes, it does take a while to dry, but these were still dripping wet. She proceeds to have us move our stuff into another dryer. ANOTHER 45 minutes and it still was wet. When we said something else about it she proceeded to actually yell at us for just not being patient. First of all $50 should have dried my stuff. Second, I am a grown adult. I expect to be treated as one and not a child being yelled at. Third, I had a service dog for my epilepsy that had to wait in the car (which was fine) because she has her dog in there, so even service animals are not allowed. Don't waste your time going here. Go to Sunshine Laundry by City Market. I had to take my clothes there to finish drying, and they were done in 20 minutes

We will not be returning to this laundry mat as we were harassed and had, what we can only assume was, a family member of that staff member come in and literally yell at us and further harass us about a machine we were using. Just because some people misuse their machines doesn't give them the right to bully and harass someone else. This was our last visit, previous visits did not result in this treatment. We had never before seen the person running the laundry mat on this particular day.

Laundry 🧺 Day at South Side Suds! The Staff really bring it to 4-Stars. Saturday is the Slowest & sometimes they do close early. Typically very clean and well maintained. Some equipment needs to be updated or removed (soap machine, bathroom fixtures).

I really like the weekend attendant. Super Nice & Very Helpful!

2023-2024 Winter Hours are M-F 8am-7pm, Sa-Su 7am-8pm.

Would love to have some way of being updated when they close early. Either a voice message on their phone line or a website/social media update (or both). Regular times on website need to be updated.

I do like the place. It's close to home, reasonably priced, and has broad service hours. All Good. Just a few touch-ups and it could easily have earned 5-stars.
