Serenity Grove helped to save my life from addiction. The staff is very caring and knowledgeable and they provide excellent after care services. I have been sober for a little over a year now and they helped me get my life back on track.

I went in for three weeks initially. Sadly, I did not make it past 24 hours . Do not be fooled by the virtual tour. There are no private bathrooms or showers in the detox area of the vicinity. They are shared bathrooms and showers no towels most of the time the toilets are backed up, absolutely no structure or routine. I did not get to see a doctor, when i was assured before even coming that I would be made comfortable during my stay. I was not given anything more than ibuprofen. Im actually glad I did not stay longer because once you leave the detox part you get moved to the apartments which are unsupervised no staff on site during nighttime hours so the patients sneak out of their rooms and engage in sexual activity. The moment I said I wanted to leave, I was escorted to the front lobby to wait on my ride. I was not allowed to return to my room to pack my own belongings. Once they realized they were not getting any more money out of me I meant nothing to them. This place is all about money in my opinion. I would not waste a dime on this place. Do not be fooled . The only people I felt treated me with any kind of respect were the people who checked my bags as I was coming in and some of the people who cleaned up the place they should get paid more than the doctors because I never got to see one. Star the Director was very unprofessional and very rude. This place is very expensive, but for the care you receive, totally not worth it. I definitely would not recommend this place to my worst enemy. I went in for my mental health. I felt if I would have stayed any longer I would have left worse than I came in. Don't believe all the "Great" reviews you read online because half of them are written by people who work at the facility, and we're once patients. Seems very convenient to me, because now they get paid to be there. If you truly want help this is not the place to go. And it's funny how if you leave a bad review because you're being honest, they all of a sudden can't discuss anything due to Hyppa laws but they can respond to every good review they get.... again very convenient. This place needs to be shut down! And if I have any say so in it, they will be!! đŸ’¯

A friend of mine went here and was very scared for her wellbeing no separation of males and females even though they try people put paper in the doors so they won't lock and can sneak in each other's rooms no security not even mentioning the showers. I wouldn't take anyone I love there. wish I could rate this 0 stars

Great and caring staff! For the nurses, counselors, techs and therapists rave reviews!

However, I believe the clinical director prioritizes profits over
Patients.

Also, other clients reported that they were told and saw on a website things that were just not true. Perhaps the website was old. I was not, personally told the lies.

Altogether tho a loving and caring environment in which to detox and work on your long term sobriety!

I was in for 30 days from June 27th until July 28th, 2024. I am still sober and plan to remain so! SG provided the tools I needed to do so!

If you or a loved one are suffering from addiction this is a good place to consider, from a 7 day detox to a 30 day residential rehabilitation programme they will meet you were you're at. I used to think it's a cliche when I first started and I would hear people say 'Serenity Grove saved my life' until it became true for me. You may be like me and skeptical about getting treatment and going through reviews in an attempt to find the perfect rehab and I'm here to reassure you and recommend this place to you. Recovery is very challenging and uncomfortable and that's why a lot more people die from or stay in active addiction, but if you want a break from the chaos of addiction and are seeking a safe, comfortable and effective place to get sober, get to the core of your addiction and learn healthy coping mechanism this place is a gem. Great compassionate staff, effective programs, good clinical staff, different community based activities from yoga, art therapy, gym sessions, Tai chi, guided meditation etc and educational and very informative group sessions, 1 on 1 therapy sessions and personalized after care plans.
The food is good, consistency in the menu, pizza nights on the weekends and a fruit and snack bar that's always stocked.
Most importantly I learnt more about my addiction and acquired all the necessary tools I need to maintain my sobriety. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this place, i finally know peace and I'm sober, reclaiming and rebuilding my life one day at a time because of Serenity Grove, I will be forever grateful this place exists. Good luck to you or your loved one

I spent 31 days at Serenity Grove, and could not be more pleased. They helped me every step of the way on helping with my addiction. The staff was great, even though they almost doubled in clients during the time I was there. They worked extra hard, long hours, and did everything they could to accommodate the growth they had. The councilors and group leaders were very knowledgeable on what they were teaching. I would personally like to thank Erica, Cathie and Melissa for taking on the roles of as teachers to teach me what I needed to know about how to deal with myself in different situations in life. I would like to thank Nashia, Renee, Erica, Cathie, and Star for being wonderful counselors when I needed an ear to bend. And I want to thank Melissa for all the meals planned and prepared for all the clients. It's not easy planning and preparing for all those people, and your work does not go unnoticed! Thank all of you for the support that you showed me during my time there. It really means a lot!

I am so glad my son went to Serenity Grove when he needed help with his addiction. The staff at Serenity Grove are very knowledgeable and caring. A friend recommended it to me when I was confused about where to get help for my son. He was admitted as a residential patient, and I was finally able to breath a sigh of relief. The staff at Serenity Grove incorporates individual therapy, group therapy, supportive practices like yoga and meditation, physical exercise, and healthy food. Also, Serenity Grove has incredible family support which I had not experienced at other rehab facilities. There is a family support group on Saturday mornings via Zoom. One or two of their counselors are there to facilitate. I felt so much love and understanding from the other members of that group. It's nice to know you aren't alone. Individual family support groups are also offered.
