Kyle has been an amazing teacher and positive influence on my son. He was pretty young and had no experience, and Kyle's teaching has helped him become a pretty darn good drummer. They meet weekly for lessons, and Kyle shows up when my son's band plays shows. They are great friends and the drumming just keeps getting better, thanks to Kyle's teaching. My son started taking drum lesson from Kyle 4 years ago when he was 11. Kyle's passion and skill for drums has been life changing for Ian. The best thing anyone can do if they are looking to invest in drums for their kid is to get them into lessons with Kyle right away. They'll learn how to play, they'll become a great drummer, find a band to play in and will have music be part of them for the rest of their life!

I have thoroughly enjoyed taking lessons at Rubatosis Drum Studio. Kyle is truly an expert with percussion. He has a unique and effective method of training building from solid drumming staples (Stick Control and Funky Primer). Kyle has shown me so many ways of learning a new pattern, integrating into a theme that shines through the beat and reflects in the fills.

The setup at Rubatosis Drum Studio includes two separate and complete drum kits. The drums and vocals are mic’d and we both wear headsets; so it is easy to communicate, hear instruction, and ask questions.

I’ve been taking lessons twice a month and always have plenty to work on in-between. An hour typically flies by, but it leaves me energized and ready to make the most out of my own practice time.
