I love that I have a therapist that helps me think critically rather than just giving me the same old feedback. On day 1 Rom didn't ask me a laundry list of my history. He got to know me by asking deep questions. Rom Brafman will push you to be your own critical thinker and make it fun and challenging. I didn't know going to uncomfortable places could be a beautiful experience. If you have a curious mind and enjoy the process of learning about yourself then I would highly suggest Rom. He is a person with depth, knowledge, patience, compassion and a powerful presence. Our sessions are something that I always look forward to.

There's no one like Rom in the world, no one more suitable to guide you as you work towards absolutely transforming your life, no one more honest or challenging, no one more compassionate or caring, no one more intelligent or multifaceted, no one funnier or more playful. Each session is brimming with insight and fun. Any preconceived notion or belief you had about how your life should/ could be, he will challenge it and push you to accept more and better for yourself. He meets you where you're at but always gives you a bit more, enough to keep you growing. I came to Rom wanting to learn to cope with depression and anxiety. In my first session he posited, "what if we got rid of the depression and anxiety?" Not a notion I had ever considered but he and I made it happen in less than a year. That is really just the beginning though. He continues to push me to want more and better, which has me playfully creating a life of joy and meaning for myself. My admiration for his incredibly rare and beautiful ability to see the complexities, depth, and beauty in all situations, for the metaphors, myths, art, film, physics, mathematics, and all other interdisciplinary cross-overs that make their way into sessions, and his sharp intellect which allows him to understand people and patterns so clearly, is unparalleled. He is one in a million. So, if you're here because you want to transform your life, he's your guy. Enjoy
