This company will find every reason to fire you and strand you, I live in Michigan, and they routed me after a load here for maintenance. Fired me for a late delivery due to being ill. Stranded me here and would not let me drive to gary IN, another Roehl terminal. Asked if they care about human life, and they stated that once fired or on a two week notice, they don't care. This company targets experienced drivers and scams new drivers.

This trucking company is the most difficult and inflexible. All drivers should make this there choose. Showers are old. There custodial cleaning personnel has only one person.

I’ve been driving for 6yrs. Pretty clean record. I’ve been looking for a new truck home since my current is closing. I’m scheduled for orientation this Monday and I had to reach back out and pull out of orientation. There are way to many negative comments in regards to leadership, pay and the gaslighting to get you in. EVERYONE cannot be wrong. I value my work and my company I drive for. Thanks to EVERY driver whom took time to express their feelings. It’s really appreciated. If companies want top drivers, and their current to stay, they need to pull their managers, planners and give them a crash course in pre and post and the time it takes. Teach them to count to 14 and recognize and respect the 10 hrs SB Break. no driving on recaps unless the driver wants to, and just teach them respect and how to deal with all walks of life drivers. Otherwise, their over turns will remain high, and quality drivers won’t think twice.

Good luck ROHEL. May the education of trucking reach your staff, before the need to file for bankruptcy does, because if you loose the value in your words(being honest, not gaslighting)you have to settle for whomever doc your door with a license…. say good bye to contracts and your company. Understand what these drivers are saying and take it to heart if you want to keep your doors open.

Btw… I placed one star because of the reviews on here and other sites. I declined orientation because of the reviews.

Good luck all

They cheated me on my pay for 2 months; only paying 49-52 cents a mile when they had agreed to 52 cents to $1.15, They ran me to the end of my clock in Baltimore and agreed to reimburse me for parking but then didn't, even though it cost me $78. for parking. Checks were decent only 2 times in two months. Other than that, don't expect to make more than $500-$600 in a week. 98% drop and hook. Layover never paid. Unnecessary resets to avoid paying detention. I received my truck with no bottom mattress, a urine covered top mattress, a urine bottle, a bolt in a drive tire, a rotted steer, etc....

Yeah Roehl, something definitely didn't add up. I discussed it with the managers while still there and you refused to correct the situation. No longer have a fleet manager with you. I don't work for free. I would also like to point out that the owner's way of handling this was just to refer me back to the fleet managers who they do not empower to correct these things. The fleet managers referred me to their manager whose answer constantly was that everything they promised was against the policy and so she didn't believe anyone would tell me these things. If anyone could correct these issues you would think the owner would be interested in doing so. Heck, just making the $78 right would have probably shown me that they had the initiative to try and do what was right and they could have retained a driver, but their drivers are not worth the $78 to them.
