If I could leave negative stars, I would.

This business, & the owner, are incredibly disorganized & have no respect for your time or money, so I would be very careful about giving him either

I needed an AHA BLS Cert For nursing school entry. I was required to upload that cert on January 9th. On January 8th, I booked the American Heart Association BLS class with Rockies CPR in Greeley for 10:30am 1\9\25
First, the booking website was disappointing. Multiple broken links regarding class information & specifics. His classes were initially listed as costing nothing Working through booking was obnoxious. I know that a BLS cert requires at least 3.5 hrs, but the class from Rockies CPR was listed at 2hrs. I assumed this meant I needed to complete some online work prior to the skills class. The booking website has no information about that, class length, what it covers, nothing. I had to go back to the AHA site and dig around there for info about the online portion of the BLS, which I found, paid for & completed on January 8th.

I was nervous about the lack of information on the Rockies CPR booking page, so I called Rockies CPR & left a voicemail. I also sent an email. By 9am on Jan 9th, I had not heard back, so I got in my car & drove the 60 miles to Greeley for my class that was supposed to start at 10:30am.

I arrived & realized the address I had been given did not include the suite number for building. I called Rockies CPR to ask. Dante (the owner) answered the phone. I was quickly informed that he had no idea who I was nor had any info regarding my booking. I said "well that's weird, I'm holding my emailed booking confirmation in my hand" then he goes into his computer and says "oh here it is, it just came through " & proceeds to tell me UNAPOLOGETICALLY that there will be no class because he didn't know he had a booking and there is no instructor present. In fact, he told me his instructor was out of town? I was upset, obviously. I had just driven 60 miles for a class I booked and paid for, & desperately needed, & he's telling me there's no class with a tone of UTTER unconcern. He tries to tell me that he has a 24 hour booking requirement, meaning you have to book a class a full 24 hours prior to the class and my booking was less than 24 hours. It does not state that ANYWHERE on his booking site, which I told him and he agreed that indeed, that information is not there on his website, and yet, did not feel that any sort of apology was necessary. Why is booking even ALLOWED to occur if it's outside his 24 hour rule

The call went downhill from there. The incredibly rude & flippant attitude from the business owner was absolutely appalling. He could not possibly have cared less about my wasted time or the fact that I was up against a deadline. He offered no apologies, in fact, he said it wasn't "his problem". He told me he was not about to drive to Greeley to teach this class because it's 1.5 hours away from Boulder. I told him that's how far I just drove to be here, & he said if I wanted to drive to Boulder he had a class that evening. I asked why nobody responded to my email or my voicemail & he had no answer for me.

When I tell you this man was rude, I am being VERY generous. The way he spoke to me would make your eyes water. He offered no apologies for the absurd inconvenience, told me it wasn't his problem, and uttered "I don't know what to tell you" many times. He took no accountability for the shortcomings of his booking system or the disorganization that allows a scenario like this to even occur.

In panic, I found another provider who let me squeeze into a class in another city, & who advised me that they get calls like this regarding Rockies CPR classes falling through with no notice REGULARLY, & they had heard so many bad things about the owner and his business practices, they couldn't believe he had so many good reviews.

UPDATE 2/3/25: AS OF TODAY I STILL HAVE NOT RECEIVED A REFUND AND THE OWNER HAS YET TO REPLY TO A SINGLE EMAIL OR PHONE CALL. BEWARE OF THIS GUY.
