Jordan and team gave our group an amazing experience. He took time to make it personable and fit it in with the rest of our programming, would definitely recommend using this ministry. They definitely help strengthen families by intentional experiential counseling

We did a lot of things over the week but our time on the low ropes course was many of our groups favorite thing they did. All of my participants learned so much from the low ropes course!!

I appreciate the basic building blocks that was given to me however, I do not appreciate the fact that my time that I payed for was not respected. My sessions were scheduled in the evenings because that worked best for me which ment, I was required to stand outside of the locked building waiting on my counselor to let me in. I don't even have a reliable number to call because it always goes straight to voicemail. Not once was I ever let into the building on time and honestly that's not even the main issue. The main issue is that once I eventually am allowed inside, my counselor doesn't even act like my appointment was delayed by 10-15 minutes. As a matter of fact, my sessions are stopped 5-10 minutes early to the "scheduled" appointment. For a 1 hour session I am deprived of 15-25 minutes of it and that is not okay because I am paying for a full hour. Very unprofessional and not the way you should treat someone who is there because they need your "help." I absolutely will continue counseling, but not through Rock Your Family Counseling.

Upon arrival our family felt immediately welcomed. We felt like the staff was very understanding of our situation and was flexible to meet us where we were. We are thankful for the strategies that were recommended. We are already implementing these into our family interaction and are hopeful for better communication, as well as, family harmony. We are grateful for Rock Your Family.

My husband and I walked into our first counseling session with Steve Leavitt after a flight delay and being up all night in the airport mostly fighting instead of sleeping.
God had us exhausted and raw for advising!
Our very first session turned that right around and we were both excited for the next few days.
Steve listened so intently to both of us and gave immediate answers to our questions. He also asked the right questions to help us open up and dig deeper.
I haven’t felt so close to my husband in years!
Steve gave tools on how to communicate, love, and put our partner before ourselves.
We could tell how dedicated he was to helping us mend our marriage. We thought that we must have worn him out at times but his heart was so in it! God has truly given him gifts of teaching, encouraging and listening.
The obstacle courses and activities he had planned for us in the vast setting of beautiful Colorado were so much fun!
I am forever grateful to have had the privilege of experiencing such great love and excitement with my husband.
We will never forget this opportunity for a lifetime!

My wife and I attended a week of "Marriage Intensive" counseling with Jordan Hall as our counselor at Rock Your Family in October of 2020. I took my time to send a review so I could have a solid history supporting my comments. Bottom line, it saved our marriage. That doesn't mean it was easy. There is a lot of work that goes into respectful, sensitive, selfless, humble godly communication. Especially for me since my old prideful communication was always waiting to come out. Still does on occasion, but not very often. I have come to realize just how blessed I am when I follow the model Jordon laid out for us. It is getting easier and after awhile you don't need the model since you become more selfless in your communication. It truly has been a blessing. I strongly recommend everything about our intensive marriage counseling, including our field trip. It was a lot of money, but the best investment we have ever made in our marriage and worth every penny.

Was an excellent consultation for the months we were there, until I made a call before our next appointment that I had said specifically asked not to be reported multiple times. I had just wanted it to be the topic of conversation the next time but had been reported anyways of my pleas to not do such and now my family is broken and in tremendous debt. We may have to move home, which will leave us in more debt just to be okay. I understand they are mandatory reporters, but I have said such that it wasn’t the case. It may be my own fault for not explaining fully through voicemail, but yet I still pleaded and said it wasn’t that serious. Yet they did. I just wanted to wait one more day to explain, not over voicemail/ call but to wait just another day to explain exactly what happened. That is my privacy to do such and not let anyone else to hear but our counselor/ therapist. Yet now it is our biggest burden more than ever. While I do feel like they helped initially, after the fact I feel very different. Mostly for the fact that they never made a point to get to the actual issues at hand that had been mentioned many times and the main reasons why we had started therapy in the first place.

Nothing has had a more profound impact on our family as the family counseling we received at RYF! My husband, son and I went for a family intensive in 2020 and it changed our whole family. We were in a very bad place relationally with our son and the Lord used our counselor, Jordan, to lead us all to forgiveness, restoration and joy. Later I decided to pursue personal counseling via telehealth with Steve and it has also been one of the most enriching things I have ever done for myself and my relationships. I am so grateful that the Lord led us from Arkansas to Colorado to find the counselors at RYF. We have recommended them to so many people.
