I have had a terrible experience there, Had a woman that lied to me, gave me meds, then changed it. Then wanted my leftover med back.. anxiety meds , antidepressant, changed me every two to 3 weeks... said she was leaving. Moving to Albany, wanted to keep me on as a pt. She was going to open up her own practice.. Did not have a degree in phyclogy. Up , and left. I was not given any meds. Put me with another lady. Saw her about 3 times. Called back to make a appt. We'll she left...Put me with 3 different nurse practicetishner... I left, they do not care about you. Worst experience I have had in my life... the ladies up front were very nice. I know now they do not care about your mental problems. I would never !!! Refer anyone there. They are not committed to putting a quality of life for you. Very disappointed with this place. !!!! Signed a letter to leave , and NEVER RETURN.

Rivertown Psychiatry has been wonderful for me the past few months. My psychiatrist, Emily, has been a great help to me in finding medications that work for me and is a delight to have a conversation with! If I ever needed assistance with a medication or something new in my life, I can talk to her about it and she's more than happy to listen. Overall, a great experience! I enjoy talking with everyone there, making them smile, and being able to receive the help I need.

Everyone here at Rivertown is very professional and friendly. I come from a small town where everyone is like family. Here, they made me feel welcome from the beginning.
