I completed a course a few years ago. Jared was an excelled instructor. I felt safe and prepared . Jared helped me select the best products best fitted for me and the shop carries a wide range of gear. The shop also did a great job of taking care of their students and welcoming to new divers! The shop organizers various diving trips and has flexibility in their courses for scheduling.Thinking about learning to dive? Go here and you definitely won’t regret it. Already certified, well join them to advance or purchase new gear. Thanks for a great experience becoming open water certified!

Just finished our PADI Rescue Diver training with River City. Great course instruction by Ryan. Everyone at the shop is friendly and knowledgeable. Looking forward to some spring and summer dives with the crew.

Jared Goertzen of RIVER CITY SCUBA (Columbus Ga) and the Georgia Aquarium provided an awesome Diving experience, with a dive of the Georgia Aquarium ocean voyager exhibit. The ocean voyager exhibit is home to Whale sharks, Manta Rays, thousands of other fish and “Tank” the sea turtle. Additionally, guests of the divers (2) received a behind the scenes tour of the Aquarium. Great family event made possible by River City SCUBA.

They have been nothing but helpful with getting gear and offering trips for all levels of diving! Super convenient to have a scuba shop that offers certifications right here, despite being far from most bodies of water.
