I had what I felt was a negative and unsupportive experience on the phone with an administrator at this office. I left multiple comments and poor reviews online in response.

Christy, the owner of the office, was kind enough to give me a call after seeing my reviews. She talked to me to explain more about why and how the situation occurred. I think that she could have easily just ignored me and had my reviews deleted, instead she chose to call me and help me understand more about why it happened. That was really kind of her. She absolutely didn’t have to take the time out of her day to do that when she could have easily just ignored the situation. She was also very helpful in giving me advice and support over the phone even though I was very angry.
She was very supportive, understanding, and she explained more about why they told me immediately to go to a different therapy office after hearing my trauma symptoms. I know she didn’t have to take time out of her day to call me and I’m grateful to know people like her exist who are willing to set aside any personal feelings about an issue and help work through the issue, despite me being a complete stranger they could easily just ignore. I was very worried about going to some random office that didn’t seem to explain a lot on their website, but she helped explain more about what kind of people work there, what their services are and how they can help me.

I have a lot of issues surrounding therapy, the responses I’ve received from therapists, and medical professionals in general, so her phone call really meant a lot to me and helped me feel a little better about seeking another therapist. Especially after mine recently quit her job, told me at the very end of a session offering zero support with the situation and then didn’t properly refer me to a new therapist.
