After going through several providers I found Cynthia Witsell. She helped me at the very start of dealing with PTSD. From the very start I found her to be very experienced and knowledgable. I did not think that talking about things could possibly fix anything and as an Infantryman and a sniper, I was sure I was simply checking a box. She provided me support that at times seemed unrelated and I was not sure how it was to help. As I progressed over the years through my PTSD, the once seemingly unrelated input proved to be wisdom that I would draw from later on. Cynthia is very professional and caring. I have spent many hours with her for a number of reasons. She has helped guide me through all sorts of life events. I have even gone to her to discuss moral dilemmas and times when I was not sure I was making choices for the right reasons. I cannot speak highly enough about Cynthia. Of the things that I treasure the most about her is that she has helped me when I was in need and even provided me immediate help when I couldn't even pay. She is more than just a counselor, she is a loving and caring human who truly cares about helping others. In addition to providing me years of support, her professional documentation and thorough understanding of the VA system helped me fully satisfy my claims with VA disability. Long story short, there is no other that has helped me in so many ways and through so many hard times. She has improved the quality of my life on countless occasions and given the opportunity, I am positive she can and will do the same for you. With her genuine desire to help and the countless ways she is involved with the community, if she cannot help, she knows somebody who can and gladly offers other services if needed. I wish you the best of luck in getting though your difficult times and know that if you look to her, luck will not be a factor. She really is a great person, great counselor and great mentor. I work with many vets in taking the first steps in dealing with their PTSD and Cynthia is my go resource when a person in need is ready to move forward.

Military one source should remove her from their list her techniques she’s uses for counseling is horrible after 1 cession we refused to return!! Please don’t waste your time!
