Went to my second event organized by them on Friday and it was super fun. Wish there were more events closer to my area (Inland Empire) but for now I don’t mind driving to have a good time in a queer safe space.

Jessica provided a fantastic experience at her foraging walk. She really made finding edible plants in LA feel accessible and fun! I learned so much useful and interesting information that I feel confident I can actually apply, and it was a great group of people to spend the afternoon with. I look forward to doing it again soon, and hopefully attending one of her other events, like board games, as well!

I lead a jewelry making workshop with Queer Friendly Fun in LA. It was a lot of fun to see the community come together over art making. Everyone was so creative and made so many cool earrings and keychains!

I attended a foraging walk Jessica organized. Mina hosted and provided an excellent learning environment. He was instructive, fun, and tailored some of the experience to our (the participants') interests. He happily invited questions throughout and helped us learn a lot. Looking ahead, I'm excited to forage within my community as well as my own backyard with my newfound knowledge! I'm also looking forward to attending future events through Queer-Friendly Fun Events
