I have been going here for 3 years now. I have received mental health support for at least 20 years. Best doctors I have ever had. They listen and answer any questions or concerns that I may have. I haven't had any issues with the front desk. If they don't answer when I call, I leave a message and they always call me back in a timely manner.

it is hard to find doctors that genuinely care about their patients and their mental health. THIS PLACE WAS A GOD SENT! however, we found out today that they will no longer be accepting Medicaid. I'm absolutely heartbroken! Dr.Paulsen is an angel; she was the best thing for my autistic son and getting his mental stable. I was hoping to be here for the rest of my son's teenage years. if you wanted the best care this is where it was!

The doctors are great the front desk is trash. I can never get in contact with them no matter the hour I call or for how long. I wouldn't go there.

I have written a review before but I am writing a new one about a year or so later. I am trying to find a new doctor at the moment but have been stuck here for the time being.

Please listen to everyone else when they say don't go to this office. The practitioners are fine, but the front desk is insanely unprofessional. They run the entire office out of voicemail and maybe answer a few calls a day. If I ever get anyone on the line it's because I called back to back for 30 or mor minutes. I understand that mental health patients can be a lot to deal with, but someone has to be available to address these issues. Dr. Paulson is wonderful, but these business practices are atrocious. Please hire the staff necessary to run the front office. This is unethical.

I have been calling the office for the past 2 days now trying to reach someone on the phone but I keep getting voicemail. They cleverly don't take messages after hours and have you funnelled to an emergency nurse. I have left 3 voicemails and have not heard anything back. I am coming close to the day that I run out of a medication, and I need to clarify if they sent me the right brand. You would think this would take 3 min to sort, but you would be mistaken. I am currently moving my records to another office if they are able to get in touch with the office. I have been seeing this office since 2018 and nothing has changed. It's a bit sad to think that this is what you get for being a loyal patient.

I find it also baffling that they continue to take new patients with this going on.

I honestly wouldn't be surprised if they never called me back. I will update if they do or not or if they ghost me. Thank you for reading this.

TLDR: If you need an attentive provider/office I wouldn't recommend this one. PRNs are fine, but it's maddening that a doctor's office can ghost (does not pick up phone or calls back) you with the Hippocratic oath in place. Let alone all the business I have given them. This definitely does harm.

My experience couldn't be more different from the rest of the reviewers! From the start, I've been helped in every way possible. I've had no issues calling the front desk and getting exactly what I needed at the time of the call. Eka has gone above and beyond to help me on my mental health journey. She's the first person that I felt like has actually listened to me in years. I highly recommend this practice to friends and family!

I have been a patient here for many years now (4+) and I had similar experiences previously as the other reviews, regarding the staffing not being readily available for contact. They were never rude to me though, actually generally very nice. I’m writing a review now because the last 3-4 times I’ve called in, I’ve been pleasantly surprised to get an answer immediately. They are listening. Dr. Paulsen and everyone here do care. Things change, and I’m hoping this being a newer review, it will display for new patients seeking help.

I have never written a review for any place of business in my life but I unfortunately would not recommend this office after being a patient for over 10 years, the therapists are great, the psychiatrist is good, the nurse practitioners are efficient. But it all means nothing when you literally do not have the option to call the office and have someone answer, you have to leave a message and if you miss their call back guess what, you have to leave another message, IF they call you back. I genuinely do not think this is a place where they need to do this but what do I know. This is no disrespect just genuine concern for this office and a recommendation that if you want fast and efficient communication, this is not the place to go.

Do not go here if you value your own sanity. The psychiatrist themselves are wonderful people but the front desk staff are rude, unprofessional, and never ever answer calls. What are they paying you guys for? You're better off leaving a message through a tin can, at least then you'd know why working people wouldn't answer. I have been trying for three days to get a letter for college and they refuse to answer any of my calls. When they do answer they're rude and unprofessional, often times they are unhelpful.
