Camp Essence is a mentoring program that so essential to black young ladies as well as Camp Proverbs is the same for black young men. Honestly there needs to be one in every city. The leaders are awesome and their longevity and character amd love they have as a couple and for all of the participants speaks volumes. The Peppers are such good examples of disciples and I am so thankful that my girls are a part of Camp Essence Mentoring Program.

There is nothing I can say for my gratitude for this organization. This ministry is ran by Don and his lovely wife Sheila. The heart, love, and service they have for people is unmatched. Always investing in the lives of people around them. Don has been my son's mentor for about 7-8 years now. My son was the youngest mentee in camp when he first joined. Luckily they caught him young. Don and his mentoring staff has completely changed my son's life and in that has changed mine as well. Not only are they forever changing the lives of people they are teaching and encouraging them to go out and positively change the lives of others.
