My husband and two daughters all see therapists at the professional group. We have been extremely happy with the therapists they see here, and their flexibility. They have a large number of therapists available with different specialties and we were able to switch until we found the right fit. The therapists have been available for emergencies, paperwork, in person, telehealth, and even multiple visits a week. However, we have had a few scheduling issues where the receptionists have double booked the appointment slot and it seems to be a consistent issue that isn’t improving. I don’t get so upset when therapists have to cancel - they’re people too and also have unexpected emergencies and illnesses, but the business definitely needs to improve their office management and organization.

My bonus daughter went here for a few months. The therapist never asked to talked to the parents and gave push back when the parents tried asking to talk to the therapist. I am unsure how a therapist can properly help a child if they are only speaking to the child without ever getting any information from the parents. Additionally, the therapist also found it appropriate to read text messages of the parent asking the therapist how the child was doing to the child. Very inappropriate and unprofessional.

Wow these previous reviews are dead on, Gomez just called canceled my my kids appointment 2 hrs before the appt. I am traveling back from Ventura Ca. earlier to attend this appointment. The day before the appt. I get a text message confirming it too.
I definitely will not be having my kids come here. They are quick to cancel and that is a sign that they care more about themselves than they do their clients.

A lot of the providers provide EMDR. I really look forward to coming here. Every provider is different and on a different schedule. As long as you have a good working relationship with your therapist you will see improvements.

If I could give this place a (-5) I would. I originally had an appointment for my autistic child on a Friday afternoon, I was contacted on Thursday to re-schedule and given the option to come in on Saturday at 8:15 am (This place opens on Saturday`s by appointment only). I agreed, I arrived at 7:50 am that Saturday with the impression that this place would open at 8 am. I waited patiently until 8:16 and this placed was still closed.....Not only was their "No Show" rude, but they didn't even have the common courtesy to call me and cancel my son`s appointment the day before. This place is trash!

My wife and I had an appointment with Debbie at 5pm. Showed up 15 min early, even after picking up my kid at daycare and dropping her off at my sister in laws. Waited in the lobby, and at around 5:10 we were asked who we were there to see. They tried looking for her number to call her but by 520 we had enough. Why cant we charge a no show fee? Time, gas, child care all wasted. Not so professional in my opinion.

They stand you up or constantly cancel. I never had all this anxiety before they stood me up so often. A therapist shouldn't cause you mental health problems.

I’ve been going to therapy for a decade now and I’ve seen really good therapist but by far my therapist brook has been the best by helping me be able to rapidly recover my mental health and help gain the skill set I need to go into the world with my head help high!
