I have been going to Pole at Play since September 2020. I started pole because I wanted get fit/exercise and feel good about myself. The way Cally teaches will allow you to grow at your own speed and always feel like you're getting something out of it. She is a very skilled and fun/funny teacher. I can let my guard down in class, be girly/sexy/feminine and feel safe from the "male gaze" all the while learning a challenging form of art. The new space is amazing and I can't wait to perform in it!

I have been going to this studio for almost 10 years (back when it was at a different location, though the same owner and instructors). The pole instructor, Cally, is so supportive and full of love. She is great with students who have zero dance experience, which is how I came to my first ever class all those years ago. I have gained so much strength both physically and emotionally. I can't recommend enough!

Love this place. The owner Cally has just this ability to make you and the entire space feel safe, fun, hilarious, and a great place to better yourself through fitness. I literally praised Pole At Play as well as Cally regularly when I moved away from the area for a few years because her classes had that much of a positive impact on me.

I personally find her hilarious and you know what they say, laughter is the best medicine! Plus she knows how to move dat body & show us students how to…mmhmm period!!! Oh and she has some of the best taste in music, I especially love the hip hop/rap she plays.πŸ’“ makes me feel like a baddie like her.
Thank you for being You. πŸ’“πŸ™πŸ»

I've been going here for 5 years. Cally is an incredible teacher. She's encouraging kind and really fun to be around. You'd be surprised how quickly you learn. It's something that I find really empowering and it's a great workout. This has really grown my upper body strength in a way that no other type of fitness class has. I would encourage anybody to go!

I am new to pole and am so grateful to be part of this community of badass and supportive women. I was really nervous to try pole as I have been struggling with my body image and confidence and wasnt sure if I could even do this type of dance due to my medical history. Cally has created a space where all women feel included, supported and safe. She is open-minded and caring and takes her time to help students who are struggling to find alternative ways to meet their goals. I am gaining strength so quickly and having fun while doing it! I highly recommend taking classes here and becoming part of this community it is so worth it!

I joined Pole at Play earlier this year, and it's everything I could have wanted in this type of environment, and more! It's a very positive and empowering space, and it's been amazing to learn from not only the instructors, but the other students as well! I've moved away from Olympia but I always come back every few weeks or so to attend classes when my schedule permits. I recommend Pole at Play to people when I can!
