I've been working out here for close to a year now and it's been such a great experience. I was in horrendous shape when I first started and now I'm SO STRONG! My trainers (first Jeremy, then Scott) do a great job of tailoring a program that's just right for me.

I’ve worked out on and off for the last 15 years or so and haven’t managed to (a) stay consistent, and as a result, (b) achieve any meaningful fitness or body composition goals over that time. I’ve been at P4L / Dynami for the last six months working with Coach Scott, and I’ve gained more muscle and lost more fat in this period than I have those previous 15 years, to the tune of gaining five to six pounds of lean muscle and losing more than two percentage points of bodyfat at the same time. Coach Scott keeps all our workouts fresh and interesting, and knows I’m a nerd so teaches me better movement mechanics and the science behind the movements and the necessary nutrition to hit my goals. I’ve always been a DIY kind of person and have generally been skeptical of personal training as a result, but I can say without a doubt that joining P4L has been among the best investments in my physical and mental health I’ve ever made. Strongly recommend checking them out — they’ll help you reach goals you didn’t think were possible.

I can't say enough good words about this PFL. As a busy tech worker, I needed to find a place where I can physically challenge myself, while being efficient on time. As a product manager, I also wanted to be able to track metrics to see my progress. At PFL, I was able to accomplish all these goals and build foundations for my future fitness journey. THANK you so much to Kris who took care of me, providing instructions on both general fitness and boxing ?. I highly recommend PFL and feel free to reach out if you have questions!

I started going to Performforlife in FiDi because I wanted to improve my fitness before a big life event. I debated this choice vs just continuing my normal workout routine but after a couple months of consistent training w/Jeremy I am thrilled with the results and couldn’t be happier with my decision. Jeremy is incredibly attentive and knowledgeable, tailoring each workout to my specific needs and even gave nutritional guidance. Every session ends up being both challenging and enjoyable. 10/10 would do it again.

Excited about this location because it's really convenient to the office. The trainers are super friendly and really know their stuff, which made me feel right at home even though I'm just starting out (have been taking a break from a real routine since the pandemic). The facilities are clean and stylish. The workout programs are actually fun, but they get the job done, too. Plus, there's an awesome sense of community that makes every trip there a blast. I've checked out all their spots, and they're all solid.

So much love and gratitude for this gym, I don't even know where to begin! I've been going to Perform For Life for about a year now and it's the best decision I ever made.

When I first started my fitness journey, I was really discouraged. I failed high school PE (haha), and only ever did cardio for exercise so the idea of lifting weights and strength training was foreign to me. The moment I walked into Perform For Life, that intimidation feeling I always get when I walk into a gym immediately went away. The atmosphere here is so positive! All of the coaches here are super welcoming, supportive, and knowledgeable. It really feels like a tight knit community when you come in.

The biggest thanks for my new found confidence in myself, and love for lifting weights and working out goes to my Coach Kris Gallimore. I was first paired with him based on my specific goals and his experience previously training tactical athletes. He's patient, encouraging, super informative, and most of all so genuine and makes working out so much fun and enjoyable. The programs he's put together for my goals are top-notch, and we do so much different variety of workouts each session. Every session I feel challenged, and so proud of myself for accomplishing something I did not even know I was capable of. My most recent accomplishment was 30 inch box jumps!! I can’t say thank you enough to him for encouraging me to challenge myself both mentally and physically every session. Seriously, I could rave about him for hours.

They also have small group classes that's taught by amazing coaches to supplement the work you are doing with your coach 1:1. These classes are capped at about 5 people so you still have that intimate community feeling.

Any fitness goals that you have, Perform For Life can get you there. They will help you meet, and exceed your own expectations that you did not even know you were capable of.

Excellent, experienced and committed training staff. Scott and Kris were my training superheroes as I fought back to recover from a major injury. Location is very convenient to downtown / soma with a second location in Hayes Valley. I use P4L to compliment my Equinox membership.

I want to give a BIG SHOUT OUT to Performance for Life / Performance for Golf Facility and trainer Angus Lee!
I have been playing competitive sports since I was very young; playing softball for a Big Ten School was a highlight. I do wish they had more training involved in sports when I was involved as it would have saved some major injuries. I have now switched to golf over the last few years and with the time I have to devote to the sport I feel I have accomplished a lot. I work out a lot and I feel I am in decent shape; but I decided to google something close to my office that could offer me a program to help improve my golf game through fitness. As we age golf is hard on the body and knowing what you can do to help this process, I feel is key.
I found Performance for Life / Performance for Golf!
I went to the initial assessment, and they worked with you on the weakness you can key in on that would help your golf game. I have now been with Performance for Golf for the last 3 months and working with Angus Lee has improved my game and I have not even been able to play because of the rain. The few times I have been able to play I can tell I make a better connection with the ball; and it has made a 1 club difference.
Angus pays attention to what is going on with your body and will adjust each week to help you make improvements on the course. We work a lot of rotation and staying down on the swing. (This is all done without a golf club and then when I have been on the course, I feel I have the motion needed to make the proper connection.)
Everyone at the FiDi facility is very welcoming and the facility is very clean and convenient to get to.
I truly feel this has not only helped me with my golf game in a short amount of time but also for the Game of Life!
