Peaks Counseling is amazing! We are so grateful for Sarah and the work that she does. Our daughter has been seeing Sarah for almost 2 years and it has hands down been the best decision we've ever made. Sarah has helped our daughter through some very challenging situations, and most importantly, coaches her on how to cope with her thoughts and feelings. Sarah has taught our daughter how to remain in her comfort zone and to stand up for herself in all situations. As a result, the confidence continues to grow. Sarah is truly the best! We will continue to see Sarah for as long as possible. I highly recommend to all that are in need.

Sarah is wonderful. She is very caring, attentive, easy to talk to, provides helpful suggestions and feedback, and always remembers our previous conversations. She is also very responsive to emails, and helped with insurance questions when I had them. Highly recommend!

Sarah is not only a wonderful therapist but a wonderful person. She has a gift! My daughter now has many tools to help manage her anxiety and we are so grateful for this. After only one session my daughter said, “I have a new friend!”

Sarah came recommended by my children's pediatrician to help them through some bumps in the road of life. Sarah provides a safe and comfortable emotional environment for her clients to feel open/free to talk about life's challenges. My children were very anxious to meet with her initially, but that was quickly dispelled after the first meeting with her. Now my children look forward to talking with her. Sarah equips her clients with practical tools/suggestions to use for life problems. She even writes notes/pictures to help remind her clients of the tools discussed in the meetings. My family loves Sarah! She has such an approachable demeanor and genuinely cares. She helped my oldest daughter when she was having difficulty in 2nd/3rd grade, and thanks to working with Sarah we figured out that a new school setting would be a better fit for her. Today she is a much happier 5th grader and we still return to Sarah whenever we have any issues. Sarah has also helped my younger daughter with fears, anxiety and friendships. Sarah is always willing to go above and beyond, and to speak before/after sessions so that as a parent you truly feel supported. Sarah helped my young daughter and I work through some temper tantrum type issues that we were having a hard time dealing with on our own. With Sarah's help, we were able to fill our "tool box" with practical steps and processes to use when she'd get upset and we developed new ways to talk about and address her emotions to keep them from getting to the level that was causing problems for our family. We were also able to get some books to read at home as reminders of what she learned in her work with Sarah. Sarah's compassion and demeanor with my daughter were fantastic and she always felt comfortable and was excited to go to her appointments with Sarah. I absolutely loved having Sarah as my therapist! She made me feel as if i was talking to a friend every single session. I always left her office feeling more confident in myself. Another fantastic thing about her office is that she is usually pretty flexible which i loved! It was never a hassle or a long wait to get in to see her.
