We took our 4 year old & had a great time. There were other groups, but it wasn't very busy. No waiting. They gave our daughter a blue ribbon & it made her weekend. There's coffee next door (I didn't try it).
Negative-its very close to the freeway. That's the view, some people won't like that, but it really didn't bother us.

The course is run down, it's in need of maintenance for sure. It's a fun place to come to and the price is fair. The staff is polite. The bathroom needs repairs and the door doesn't shut well. We tried the difficult course and it was fun. I would give this place a 3.5 stars if I could. Too bad the star rating isn't by half increments. My son gave it a 4 and my husband gave it a 3. We really enjoyed our time playing, it didn't drag on and it was relaxed because people were patient and it seemed timed well. There weren't people hovering over each other so that was great. We really enjoyed being able to play at our own speed.

Just drove by at 3:43 pm on a Wednesday hoping to play a game with my wife. Nobody is here. No staff. The hours here on Google and on their website say they are open at 11 AM and it’s a ghost town.

Just sell the place to someone who can run it, maintain it, and cares about this South Puget Sound staple. Parkland Putters deserves better.

I really wanted to give this place 5 stars. We drove all the way from Bellevue, over an hour each way. And it was honestly great fun. One of the few places that my teenage daughter and my husband and I all enjoy.
We started around 7:30pm. There are 4 courses of 18 holes each, which the guy explained as "Easy, Medium, Medium-Hard, and Difficult." The paths are mostly well marked with arrows, and each hole has a number so you know you're going in the right order. It's a great place for Covid fun because it's spread out.
We decided to start on Medium.
Maybe we're just not good at mini golf, but the course was quite challenging for us. Super fun, but a bit discouraging in places. For the 3 of us, it took about 45mins to get through the 18 holes. More than once, I managed to hit my ball hard enough to bounce out of the small concrete walls so I had to run and chase the ball before it escaped through the fence. (We also watched a couple playing through the Difficult course, which was kind of bonkers. Hills and twists and water hazards... My daughter wanted to play it but I chickened out.)
We were having so much fun (even after we each took max strokes on a hole) that we decided to play the Easy course on their half-price deal.
I think the Easy course is better described as a "straight and simple" course. Fewer turns and traps than the Medium course, but several holes had slopes that made them quite challenging. We found two different places over 18 holes where the slope caused our golf balls to hit each other. We each maxed out on a hole in the Easy course, but we also each got a hole-in-one so that was better than the Medium course.
The real problem is the maintenance. We played until about 9pm, and the middle of the Easy course is poorly lit. There are several holes where you can tell that they patched only part of the turf, which means there are seams that get in the way of a smooth putt. And one particular hole on the Easy course is an actual safety hazard. I tried to walk the path of how to get to the hole, and the wood base under the turf was so soft that I rolled my ankle when I stepped on it. We had to skip that hole because of the badly torn turf carpet and the complete inability to get past the first hit.
In all honesty, we'll definitely go back. The place was very fun, albeit more challenging than we expected. But I do hope they can get some of those holes repaired soon so I can update to 5 stars. 🙂

I've come here on and off for probably 4 decades now. Took my kids here for one of their b days. My review is a mixed bag.

It still has magic and fun for children of all ages. Flat fee of $8 per person over I think it's 3 yrs old.. might be 5. Under that age is free.

As much as I love the courses. All of them need redone in some way. It didn't keep us from playing any hole. They aren't in that bad of condition. But still would be nice to change it up on the holes over the years. Sink a little money back in the business and have some new things. Like I said I've been coming here for 4 decades and nothing has changed..

If you want to play some golf I still recommend just for some outside fun. And I'll be back. Just wish I'd come back to something a little new.

Came here with some friends since the other mini golf place in Tacoma didn't feel like it was enough of a challenge and I was reading reviews and saw one from a Henry Walker saying he had such difficulty here and we thought that was a perfect way to spend the day, we arrived payed for our games (8$ each is a real good price) and had a absolute blast so much so that we payed to do another round on the highest difficulty at the time (the hill was closed when we came) and we had tons of fun and lots of laughs and honestly I will definitely be coming here over anywhere else and Henry if you're reading this I'm sorry but maybe you need to just get good at mini golf

My favorite mini golf course so far! Looks a bit run down and unimpressive from the freeway but we really enjoyed the holes and found them quite challenging and fun! Service is always a young kid and they do a great job. Highly recommend for the price ($11) to check this place out with some friends or family ⛳️
