After an unexpected cancer diagnosis in 2021 on top of Covid lockdowns, my family and I found we needed help to get through it. Palo Alto Therapy was recommended to us by a family doctor, and I'm so grateful. We've seen different therapists and I would recommend any of them without hesitation. Not only that, they're unlike most mental health offices in that someone answers the phone or email and responds right away. They also accepted our insurance and handle our claims. They follow up, they care, they're compassionate and highly skilled. Everything you need when you're not well mentally.

I have known the owner of Palo Alto Therapy for a number of years, and he has brought together a strong team of therapists that are truly committed to delivering the highest quality therapy possible. CBT is their forte, and all of the therapists at PAT have been well trained in utilizing CBT to help clients resolve difficulties with anxiety disorders and mood disorders. You can also find help at PAT for general stress management and for relationship difficulties. Highly recommended!

Palo Alto Therapy (PAT) is the place to go if you want the highest quality counseling experience. This team of therapists is not only uniquely qualified to provide evidence-based cognitive behavior therapy (CBT) -- but they're also committed to improving the real lives of everyone they serve.

I've known PAT's founder for several years now -- and what I know for sure is that Ernie Schmidt is dedicated to making sure that everyone at PAT gets what they really need to experience a better life. There's no psycho-babble here -- but down-to-earth connections and powerful counseling interventions that make a real difference for long-term change.

I have been seeing Azizeh for the last few months with MY fiancé to help us with parenting and premarital counseling. Azizeh have been very helpful. She has been nothing more than a very kind professional therapist whose warm approach to couples therapy has brought us so much hope and the knowledge about what a healthy intimate relationship is like. As result of improvement in my relationship with my fiancé, my daughter's relationship with him also has improved. I am so happy and thankful that I decided to seek premarital therapy with Azizeh before getting married. I highly recommend Azizeh and I would like all couples to benefit from her services as we are benefiting.

I was in the social anxiety therapy class ten years ago. It challenged my thought process, and gave me the mental toolkit to help me overcome my social anxiety. To say it was life changing was an understatement. I could not recommend it enough.

I have been interacting with the PAT team for a few weeks now and their office staff is excellent. They have made navigating to find the right fit therapist as easy as it can be (under the circumstances). Thank you!

I've known Ernie Schmidt, the Therapy Director at Palo Alto Therapy, for many years. He's a warm and engaging therapist and colleague.

Strange Draconian process filled with extremely long, privacy-invading forms. No actual empathy from the therapist regarding our concerns about privacy or wasting our time with irrelevant questions. Hard pass.
