Took me a week to get a response when I first received a big IRS bill from 2016 taxes. Eventually Theresa called me back and emailed me for a few weeks trying to figure it out. Than she just stopped responding. When you call no one answers. Voicemails go unanswered. Emails go unanswered.

Theresa and her team are bad at communication, would recommend you avoid them at all costs.

Also been informed Theresa has acquired another firm, would also avoid that.

I have been with another padgett accountant for almost 20 years. When he died my account switched to Theresa. My experience had been beyond poor.

My taxes were never filed. I couldn't get anyone to return to my calls or emails. On tax day, I was told they filed an extension. Fast forward 4 months, dozens of unanswered emails and calls later, deadlines missed and promises broken, I was told my taxes were finally done when I asked to be switched to another office.

Theresa gave me a dozen excuses during our conversation and she was clearly not familiar with my return. I asked about penalties for filing late. She said there wouldn't be any because an extension was filed. I didn't get a penalty for filing late... but I DID for paying late.

My advice is do not choose this office.
