Although you may be required to take this class I wouldn’t recommend this facility. Their staff is very rude for some reason. During the hour long intake process I was asking questions along the way just to be clear the admin would huff and puff, she eventually said if I would let her finish she would get to what I’m asking her. They don’t make things easy for you at all if you want to get through your classes with no hassle go somewhere else. Crescent anger management was amazing and highly recommend!

Highly recommend this place for court ordered classes. For the theft class in particular I can say that the counselors Shannon and Lynnette were phenomenal. It is clear that they both care and want to be there to help you move forward in your life in a positive manner. They created a non judgemental and empathetic environment to share thoughts and feelings.

The classes themselves are currently on zoon and are an 1.5 hours long. There are 8 group sessions with one intake and one outtake where you do a post test in order to get your certificate. Each session (including the intake and outtake) is $25, so $250 in total, and your deadline to pay it is the day before the session. You also have the option to pay it outright. The class's have the overarching message of theft prevention but they do give you skills that you can apply to other parts of your life which I did enjoy.

The classes are interactive so be sure to pay attention and be prepared to participate. The rules are simple, basically make sure that you are alone and focused on class, so no multitasking. The rules are easy to follow imo but on two occasions someone was removed for not following them so be aware.

The post test is over the phone and is easy as long as you paid attention in class. They really do want you to pass this class so they don't give you any questions that would trip you up.

Now this is my experience related to the theft class but I assume it is similar to the other classes as well.

I know I felt stressed out when I was told to take this class and it felt like the options they gave me had poor reviews or only a couple so hopefully this helps someone else feel more confident in where they decide to take their classes.
