Amazing food, everything is homemade in house including bagels, cream cheese and all the meat! Jack the owner is the absolute best, he offers samples and is so personal and kind!

Came to Basalt to visit family i am from NY where I have abt 5 bagel places within 3 miles of my home....yet I can't wait to get to Open Sesame for their delicious unique bagels!!! I keep asking back in NY for the corn rye and thyme especially have not found it. I will be here every day of my visit! Bagels consistently fresh and delicious, whether its just with a schmear of cream cheese or as a yummy sandwich. All ingredients high quality, staff super friendly and on last visit went across the street, found a picnic table to enjoy my meal. Definitely give them a try you won't be disappointed!!!

Open Sesame Bagel shop is amazing!! I had a Gluten Free everything bagel with a vegan cream cheese!! They had so many gluten free and vegan options! Jack is awesome, he was so funny had me and my 9 friends laughing the whole time. Will be recommending this place to everyone!

Excellent bagels. Even better than the ones back where i grew up in Los Angeles. The everything bagel is my favorite - they heavily see both sides. Extremely friendly owner. Highly recommend.

We walked over to check this place out and we were not disappointed! Really delicious bagels, even my husband who grew up in NY agreed. We had bagels and cream cheese on our first visit and literally went back the next day and got bagel sandwiches, everything was delicious. Lexi is amazing as the cashier AND barista, and so sweet. On a nice day you can cross the road and eat by the river. Definitely recommend this place!

Visiting from TX..looking for a quick place to grab breakfast and Open Sesame did not disappoint. The owner Jack was amazing! He talked us through the menu, made awesome suggestions and let us sample items. Everything that we ordered from a bagel with cream cheese to homemade chicken salad was so so good!
