We could not be happier with the results from Dillon’s help training our Belgian Malinois.

We were told by others that we were “crazy” for getting a breed as demanding as a Malinois (someone even begged us to get in touch the breeder and call the whole thing off). The first few months, before working with Dillon, we got a glimpse into why people felt that way. But as soon as we started working with Dillon, we understood that our dog was actually amazing. Once we could successfully communicate our expectations, our dog was so much happier and we were able to get him to a point where we can fully trust him in practically any environment. Now we’re extremely proud of how well trained our dog is and of the amazing relationship we’re able to have with him. None of this would have been possible without Dillon’s unique approach.

Only great things about Dillon, his philosophy and his method.

Despite the drive that characterizes his breed, Our 7 month old Belgian Mallinois is now the best family dog.

We started working with Dillon when our dog was 8 weeks. Our dog is now a confident, happy dog that knows when and where he is allowed to be off leash and have more freedom. At the same time he is incredibly obedient and can be recalled and put on leash when needed without any issue. To create opportunities for training and the ideal learning environment, he even brought his own working dogs to some of our sessions.

Dillon showed us how to communicate our expectations to our dog and build a happy, healthy relationship. He also told us what to expect in the months and years to come and how to calibrate our expectations.

He is always available to help so we could text me for advice at any time of the day.

We have a now year old very active catahoula puppy. It has been over 40 years since we had a puppy! Get a puppy, they said, it will be fun, they said:) We were struggling to get ours to listen and obey. Could not find any trainers in the I70 corridor to work with us. Even the vet could not find anyone.

We saw a review from someone in Bennett, about Dillon, with high reviews. I called Dillon; got the low down on the cost, length of training, etc. He came out for a free consult to our home and to meet our then 10 month old puppy, Josi. I believe it was the same day we called.
We immediately connected with him and 2 months later have a very well behaved 1 year old puppy! Dillon is worth every penny and every hour we spent with him! He trained us to work with our puppy, worked with us in our environment, eventually met us at different locations: Lowes, a park, Tractor Supply, etc to expose Josi to various surroundings; brought his dogs to our home to socialize with our dog. He gave very positive and honest feedback to us, during our sessions.

Unlike other trainers that take your dog and train them, he has very little interaction (after the first meeting) with the dog so the dog responds to you rather than the trainer.

We HIGHLY recommend him, especially if you have a high energy, stubborn puppy or dog.

I was referred to Dillon through a friend and couldn’t be happier with the end results. I have a 2 year old Aussie that I have trained myself but I knew without proper e-collar training my dog wouldn’t be at his full potential. Dillon was extremely knowledgeable on different methods of use for the e-collar and the tendencies of different dog breeds. I can now fully trust my dog in any environment I bring him too without being nervous of what he may or may not do.

My hunt for a dog trainer began when I recently moved into a new house. I previously tried to have my dogs behavior issues corrected by a facility training/group sessions with no success and financial loss. On this hunt I wanted to find a trainer that did more of a private session/teaching. Searching “dog trainers near me” I found Dillon who was within walking distance which is great as I work a lot and that was an issue with the previous training I had done. Within the first 2-3 sessions I was already having confidence instilled that my dog was going to be no longer giving me anxiety when in public or hiking trails and with Dillon’s reassurance this came true. Prior to Dillon’s training Riley had some overactive/hyper energy meeting other dogs that I had trouble distinguishing and since I rescued her and she is an “aggressive breed” I would get anxiety tendency when she met other dogs due to peoples judging a book by its cover. Ultimately , within the first few sessions Dillons program paid off and the tools he gives and guidance you will be set for life time with your dog. For the past year I had Riley she was always tethered close when in public and muzzled along with never going to parks. Now she is a weekend park goer along with a long leash/off leash dog when we are getting lost in the mountains

We recently adopted a very anxious and shy two year old girl. She would only stay in one section of the house was terrified of our cat and refused to listen to us. We thought just giving it a couple weeks would allow her to adjust but that didn’t happen.

We knew before adopting her we wanted to get her professionally trained. Due to her anxiety we decided we needed a trainer to come to us. Based on the research we did on other trainers, we knew we were limited. Traveling trainers were pricey too! We also noticed the price was higher for a dog over 6 months to be trained.

With Dillon from the very first phone call we were blown away by how informed he was, such a different approach and it was a very reasonable price. He was confident to train any breed at any age, regardless of the behavioral situation.

In each session Dillon not only answered all our questions but gave us knowledge that we didn’t even know we needed. Understanding that communicating with a dog is very different than humanizing a dog.

We saw a huge difference just after two sessions and were amazed how just over three weeks we had a completely different dog and not only did our confidence grow but so did hers. She is now happy, trained off leash, anxiety has reduced drastically, she can roam the house, she’s not terrified of our cat, she plays, and the list goes on.

We couldn’t even begin to thank Dillon enough for what he has done and would highly recommend him to anyone. We are very confident that no other place or trainer would have brought our pup or ourselves to where we are today. Now if he could just train cats….

We have a 1yr old black lab, April, who was running the house before we met Dillon.

He has helped us more than anything when it comes to understanding April. His knowledge on dogs and their behaviors helped us learn the best ways to respond to April in and out of our home.

We started noticing a huge difference in how we were interacting with April after just our first session. He was there to guide us while also remaining completely neutral with April- ensuring we were always the trainers.
