Anyone seeking an answer as to why the Bay Area is suffering from a mental health crisis need not look any further than this very clinic: Won't return calls, unprofessional, disorganized, confusing, condescending and uncaring. I can tell you that it's much easier and less time consuming for a person to go out into the street and buy drugs than it is to request mental health services and rehabilitation for drugs/alcohol. Think about that the next time you see people strung out on the streets of San Francisco or Daly City and wonder how they go to where they are.

My medi-cal lapsed and instead of trying to assist me Dr Biggs and nurse Dana decided to simply close my case and deny me my medication refills. I now have no medications and no way to refill them.

I will be reaching out to the government and wherever they get their funding. They also don’t provide the contact information even though it’s a right. I’m not sure who is spreading this unhelpful attitude but I’ve noticed it for months. Please discipline these ppl with their unethical practices like nurse Beth. She couldn’t take one second to look at the pt’s chart check on labs or vitals. I’ve seen this pattern of her non cooperative lazy attitude. She also expects patients to wait hours to see if they have supplies instead of checking. She doesn’t se like she wants to do anything because the answer is also no. As a nurse, she needs to be a wiling and effective liaison between the doctors and residents.

This clinic would be best without ppl like Beth and Orlando that treat pts like they are an inconvenience. Orlando laughs at pts and mocks them. Lastly, the place that the community is suppose to trust for support and safety, calls police officers on the pts. Some of these pts are really struggling in life and dysfunctional in their life and don’t deserve to be treated like they are an imminent threat. They called the police on a pt in a wheelchair that was unarmed AND not making violent threats. It was not an emergency yet about 6 officers arrived at the clinic. They also lied to this pt to wait outside only to trick him while the police were on the way. The nurses are lazy. Even when the doctor orders labs to be drawn. If they really felt police officers should come that way then it needs to be somewhere where other ppl and pts can’t witness such unnecessary means.

Very unprofessional even though they claimed to be professional. The first psychiatrist got into my personal business at the first meeting so I change to another psychiatrist. The next psychiatrist was pretty weird; he argue at everything I said to him. He said that I was seeing other psychiatrists behind his back. I have no idea what he is talking about. Why didn't he ask me to stop taking other psychiatrists medication at the first meeting? This guy actually blames other people for his mistake. After this incident, the nurse put a bullet needle in my arms and it hurts! I thought you guys are professional huh? I am going somewhere else or get another psychiatrist. I would like to be normal as possible and not be around weirdness. This place is weird.

Medical Staff competent but Administration leaves much to be desired. Communication skills need improvement. Some personnel could use increased ESL training.

Depressing waiting area due to the clientele of poor hygiene. I've usually had to park on the street due to insufficient parking in lot which has not been a serious problem.
